All hail the guy that can dump his load in some broad and produce his spawn. Us non-breeders should just bow to his mighty power, and know his understanding of the world is far superior to anything we could muster.

Their non-music stuff was top notch too. That whole site was about quality of content. You knew when you downloaded something that it was going to work the first time, be what it is labled to be, and not give you issues.

H2 SUT. I love those, though the bed is fairly useless. I'd consider one if something happened to the Avalanche and I found one uber cheap, but I think I'd miss my bed a lot. They are also offering for 2009 the H3T, which is a quad-cab truck version of the H3.

I figured he was blind...sunglasses aren't going to do much for him.

Hmmm, I need to go tux shopping for my wedding in the next couple of weeks. I used to work @ President Tuxedo in high school/early college (up until around 1998). I don't think they are around anymore; luckily I know enough about it that I'm less likely to get ripped off. Any good places around Columbus that DO NOT SUB-RENT their tuxedos from someone else. That's a major sticking point for me.

Yes, because those 15 year old kids having a baby with their knocked up 14 year old g/f are very manly. Seriously McDouche, you sound like a freaking tool. I offer no hugs or tears. I can't wait until I can have kids so I can be a man like you. Oh wait, I've seen enough immature parents to realize that kids don't do a damn thing to make a person "better."

What do all those arrest have in common? People in the UK. I miss Oink. Much more consistant, higher quality stuff than the random offerings on Newsgroups.

He is also selling a Ferrari kit car (Mondial looking Fiero, and like almost all Fiero based kits, the interior looks like total ass). Screw the 240, I want that Aerial Atom.

If the only redeeming thing about your CAR SHOW is hot chicks, then it is freaking lame. Don't get me wrong, hot chicks are awesome, but they should enhance the show, not be the reason to go.

Well yeah, with the cost of everything going up, the city needs more money.

Their LT1 clutches suck. I'm on #2 right now. They don't back their product up very well either. Other LT1 board members here have had similar issues. I'll never give them any of my business again.

Wow, that's not cheap! I wonder if I could sell my boat for more now since it is so good on fuel (for a boat at least)? That's a crazy amount of gas. We were out cruising/wakeboarding for a few hours, and I may have spent $30 tops + gas to pull it there/back. Hmmm, I may be on to something.......

Janet has said a few times once we settle into a new place it will be time. I said in about 2 years, she seems to be more on the next year plan.

17' Sea Ray I/O bowrider, with Alpha 1 outdrive, 2 year old 3.0L crate motor (updated boat to the difference for the new motor), composite prop. I'm very pleased with the composite prop too. The board came with a wakeboard rope, so I'm set there. I'm not sure on the length; I'll have to measure it. When jumping wakes, would I be better off using fins as "training wheels" before going finless? Speed wise, I was right around 18-20 indicated, but I have no clue as to the accuracy of my speedo. I need to get a GPS and really find out. Honestly, my boat doesn't make an impressive wake, so I'll see how much air I can get on the board. If I shorten the rope up a bit, I can get closer to the higher part of the boat's wake, so that may help a bit.

I'm not sure which model that one is, but the S4s made 300HP/290ft-lb. I think the S4 made 264HP as well. But hell, 300HP pump gas turbo 2.2L in 1995 was pretty impressive.

The aerial stuff with the "ground" is called messenger cable. It is no different than your standard indoor stuff other than have the messenger wire (NOT TO BE USED FOR GROUNDING) attached to it. But if you don't know how to properly tie off messenger, it will really look sloppy. Cable designed to be burried is called flooded cable. It contains a sticky dielectric material in it (hence flooded). It is designed so that if a SMALL break in the outer jacket happens underground that water won't seep into it. In reality, it just slows it down, but is the better choice to use. Proper fittings, splitter configurations, etc are also important. Throwing an amp on without configuring this correctly is always a bad idea (shouldn't amp your data lines, a lot of store bought amps don't have a reverse path = VOD won't work and can't order PPV through the box, and a pile of other problems).
-
Neither. I'd buy a 1-2 year old CPO Audi A4. Sure, it is used vs. new, but will have a longer warranty than the new Honda. Nicer car inside/out (and I've been in the new Accord and Civic), and far more fun than either. Gets good fuel economy too. As for taking premium...really, at $4/gallon, it makes very little difference. Normally .20 higher; at 15 gallons, that's a whopping $3.
-
Again, I can hook you up with everything, get good fittings/splitters on it so everything looks good, take signal measurements so you actually know if you need an amp (depends on how hot the signal coming in is, how many splits, etc.). Honestly, the average consumer shouldn't run their own cable. It seems easy enough, but normally looks like shit.

I've skied for years (pretty much nothing but slalom now), but have never gotten into wakeboarding. My fiancée got me a wakeboard for X-mas, and I finally got to use it yesterday. Took 3 tries to get up, doing what I heard was the correct way (board sitting flat, then turning once it starts going up). For my first session, I ran a rear fin, after that, I ran no fin. At this point, what things should I be practicing/learning? How should I arrange my "bindings" in terms of stance and angle? I have never snow boarded before, so I have no reference to that (again, I've been a snow skier as well). How long of a rope should I run? My boat is just a 17' open bow I/O runabout (what the public would call a ski boat, though it really isn't). I can tell with the rope mounted low, it is a disadvantage. The fiancée is discussing getting a wakeboard boat as early as next year. But for now, how fast should we be going? We just left it trimmed all the way down, but the boat planes out pretty easily...pretty much kept it just at the point of where in planes out. Overall, we really enjoyed the wakeboard. Much easier to get up than slalom, and didn't wear me out nearly as much (and the wipe outs are far less painful, since you are going about 1/2 the speed). I did it for a while, so my hands and forearms are dead. I learned to transition from my natural left foot forward, and spin around to my very unnatural right foot foward (I know I need to work on that a lot, including body position with the rope). I need to work on turning my body more w/ the rope, as I'm used to the ski position. I can get out of the wake and all of that, though it is a lot harder without the fin. I enjoyed riding much more finless though.

These are the two things we haven't really lined up yet for our wedding in Niagara. What should a decent photographer run? Figuring 4 hours of service, pics at the Chapel, location across from the reception, and the reception. Not including the cost of prints. We are seeing a WIDE variety in cost. Quality is important, but where is it smart to draw the line on labor. I mean $1500 for four hours for one guy to take pics and provide them on disc seems a bit excessive. Same deal for a DJ...what do those guys normally run for a standard wedding reception. We will be fairly specific about the music (no country, no hip-hop/R&B/rap crap). Just want to make sure we get a price that's in the correct ballpark.

That sucks. I know I was devistated when my motor blew up on the water a few years ago...ruined my boating year.

I was driving a white Audi around yesterday.
