  1. No, that guy said he didn't; he made a post like that just to f' with everyone; to quote: But seriously, that dirty whore looks like a 30-something guy dressed in drag. $10 says she has a penis in her pants, and it is attached to "her."
  2. Opps, reading owns me. LT! F-body then. smile.gif Anything but a wrong-wheel-drive snoor of a Civic/Accord.
  3. 04 GTO. They can be had for VERY reasonable prices now, and are 100x cooler than any Accord or Civic (true story).
  4. "6.0 liter aluminum V-8, TRW forged pistons, Carrillo stainless-steel connecting rods, stainless-steel valves, roller rocker arms,a forged crank, a dry sump-oil system, and braided stainless-steel hoses. The intercoolers, which are exposed on the top of the engine bay, are removeable using four quick release aerospace clamps. The turbos are water-cooled Garretts. The boost is limited to a mild 7 psi. Each cylinder has its own coil for ignition, and fed through multi-sequential port injection." That's not an off-the-shelf GM motor now, let alone in 1991. Just because it uses a SBC (that doesn't have much GM left in it) and beefed up GM tranny doesn't make it off the shelf. Better yet, Check this out And if that isn't good enough, the Vector M12 uses a Diablo V12, which is most definately an exotic motor.
  5. Lottery.....I'd be a BIG winner.
  6. But the first time I got drunk it was on Zima. Man I used to drink that stuff like it was water, before beer took over. smile.gif Thanks for the suggestions. Can those be purchased anywhere, or do only certain stores carry them??
  7. Cookie cutter or not, I'd VERY HAPPILY trade houses with him (though not necessarily land/neighborhoods, as those M/I homes tend to sit WWWAAAYYY too close together). Looks like a pretty niffty home, but no pics of the garage??!!!
  8. Are you planning just an N/A motor, or running a power adder? N/A, just go with the 6AL. Boost or Nitrous, give the Mallory Hyfire VI (#685). Basically a Digital 6 w/ a digital display using pushbutton controls to change all the settings, + a built-in window switch, and boost proportional timing retard w/ the optional harness/map sensor. Of course it has all the regular stuff, like dual-stage rev limiters, start retard, nitrous retard, etc. I had a MSD Digital 6+. Actually, 4 of them. I sold the 4th one, as I wasnt' going to deal with that crap anymore; luckily MSD is good about their warranty work. I replaced it with the Hyfire, which BTW is quite a bit cheaper too. I sold my used Digital 6 and used window switch to buy a brand new Hyfire VI w/ money to spare. smile.gif You can use the MSD wiring harnesses with it too; my MSD LT1 harness is hooked up to it.
  9. Whaa whaa whaa. Trying working outside in this crap.
  10. With my limited experience, I'd say I would like semi-dry, light to medium body, sweet or spicy. Now in drinking terms, I am a fan of both sweet and sour drinks (I love whiskey sours), don't mind a non-light beer (but can't handle German beers or the like), and don't mind stuff with an aftertaste, as long as the taste is decent. I forgot one other wine I've had. My grandparents have grape vines; their neighbors use the grapes and make wine with them.....very good tasting wine, which defiantely has some kick to it. I had some Sutter Home White Zinfendale last night; it was onsale and I figured I'd have some w/ the g/f. It tasted really watery, but had a decent aftertaste....I have a feeling it was because of the cheap brand of wine rather than White Zindendales in general. Michael, can you name a couple other $10-$15 dollar wines for me to try? Preferably at least one that's fairly sweet for the g/f, then something a little more towards my tastes. smile.gif (Perhaps a suggestion for a Merlot, White Zinfandale, and Sauvignon Blanc). Right now, I'm looking more for something to have at home w/ dinner, or watching movies at home w/ the g/f. Then kinda go from there. smile.gif
  11. If it makes you feel any better, if my promotion goes through at work, I will probably be buying my roomate's Mustang = me being a Mustang owner. Of course I'd much rather have a Vette over that, even a same vintage C4.
  12. When it comes to beer I like (and consume very regularly ), I'm good. Same for shots/mixed drinks....I have my favorites and am comfortable with my choices and what new stuff to try. But with wine, I am at a complete loss. No one I hang with drinks wine, and my experience with it goes about as far as some cheap White Zinfendale (sp?). Anyone have a good VERY BASIC overview of wine. Also, what are some good low to lower priced wines. A former co-worker of mine at Lucent went to a couple wine tasting things put on by Kroger (or was it Meijer) that let you get to sample the lower priced stuff to see what was good, and what wasn't. How do you get to do something like that?? I don't plan on becoming a wine-o. I laugh at the guys at clubs buying wine for their chicks (can you say high maintance?), or those people that only drink wine. But knowing what to order at a nice restaurant would be good to know.
  13. Luckily, my Jesus has a sense of humor. smile.gif
  14. Though you know my feelings on your selling the Formula, if you've got to, definately go with the Z06. First off, you can definately get an 02 Z06 for 30k, perhaps a little cheaper now that the C6's are out (I glanced at some prices right around the time the C6 was released). Which to choose for: Stock for stock straight line = Z06 Handling = Z06 Braking = Z06 Gas Mileage = Z06 Looks = Z06 Interior = Z06 BIG TIME Better overall quality inside and out = Z06 Ease/cost of motor mods = Cobra I'd bet insurance costs would be similar. Though buy-in on the Z06 may be more than the Cobra, come resale time, you will probably be better off finanically w/ the Z06. It's not like you can't mod the Z06. Roots blower + LS6 = nice power. Ask Adam S. about his dad's 01 regular C5 coupe w/ the Blower. smile.gif I've been daily driving Tim's GT, which interior wise is very similar to the Cobra. For my tall ass, I just don't fit very well in the car. I've learned to adjust, but I defiantely fit better in my Formula. From the times I've sat in a C5, I've felt I fit pretty well in it, definately better than the Mustang. You are a lot shorter than me, so that may not be as much of a factor for you though.
  15. I'm going to bet this guy's definition of fast is a lot different than most of the members on this board.
  16. I watched the 11PM news last night; they said the damn was fine with no signs of damage and was working correctly.

  18. I just don't like the styling of the 05 Mustang. The rear overhang on them looks retarded; even more-so in person. I've seen only 1 GT on the road, but countless V6's, a ratio even worse than I normally see with the previous Mustangs. I guess this looks better than the regular Mustang. But for that kind of money, you would have to be smoking crack to buy that over a C6. It's not like those rear seats are really useable!
  19. CTS-V. smile.gif I'm wondering if it will get the LS7 for 2006..........
  20. Heavy car + shitty mainstream car magazine drivers = poor times and poor traps. Period. They are good at wringing out times of slow, easy to launch cars that don't take much skill to drive at their maxium. Give them a car that takes a bit of finesse, and they are done for.
