  1. I did it on my Reynoldsburg property a couple years ago. Things to note: - Make your life easier and buy an identical sized model - this way everything will line up nicely. - Have two to three of you total to move the old tank out - it is heavy, akward, and may leak onto things you don't want - Save yourself a trip - buy new lines if they are screw on, and anything else that looks easy to replace. You likely have some corroded BS that is easier to replace than deal with. - Be patient with lighting it, as they are sometimes a pain in the ass when brand new. This is a DIY job for sure, so don't waste your money paying someone else to do it.
  2. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85048 4th post down.
  3. Hasn't been nearly that long. And I have all the parts to put it back to running faster than anything you have ever owned.
  4. I think the technology for 3D without glasses is a long way away.
  5. LOL, everyone is always hiring for those spots - WOW, Insight, Warner, and all three hire contract companies that do residential sales as well. High turn over, as most don't make it (there are a few that can make good money doing it, but most folks only last a couple of months).
  6. My TV wasn't purchased with 3D in mind. Since it is 3D ready, it wasn't a big deal to go 3D. I don't know if I would shell out extra bucks for a 3D TV if there was an equivalent that was a couple hundred less.
  7. I have the same roll bar...it fits very well.
  8. Panasonic has a 1 year exclusive deal on this movie. What kind of sucks is the content for 3D isn't really there yet...a few decent movies, and some games. GT5 is neat in 3D. It can be hard finding the glasses as well; I need to get another set, as it sucks only have one pair right now.
  9. Nevermind - I was lucky enough to find someone on Demoniod who uploaded the full uncompressed .iso, so I'm d/l it now...only 46GB.
  10. I just discovered that Panasonic did some deal where they have exclusive rights to the 3D version of the movie on Blu-ray, and ship it with their 3D TV kits. You can find it on Ebay for $150ish...no thanks. I just need to borrow a copy for about 45 minutes, since of course Netflix doesn't have it either.
  11. Well, you are SOL without buying some stuff. The past few years they have stopped putting tuners into DVD/VCR combos - stupid, but cheaper I suppose. Your solution to piss her off the least: 2-way splitter, feed one directly to the TV Some kind of cable tuner box on the other side of the 2-way splitter, then feed that to the VCR input. Feed the output of the VCR to the TV That said, she won't likely be happy with that either, as she will have to manually set the channel on the tuner box for whatever she wants to record, as the VCR won't be able to setup to change the channel on a timer to do that. Better options: - Get a DVR - Search for an older VCR that has coax in/out - DVD Recorder with coax in/out. She will probably be super happy with that, and they work very similar to a VCR The better options will let her do what she likely wants to do - setup recordings for when she is away. What she has now isn't going to pull that off.
  12. How you typed it out gave the impression you were pissed.
  13. Not sure yet - I'll want to do some research on Ebay for them to see how much I can possibly get. I usually watch several auctions for similar items ending at prime times and see what they go for. I'm hoping to sell as a pair though.
  14. I currently have matching XFX 7600 GT cards I will be selling as a pair as it seems I will get more cash for them that way. I have a 460GTX on the way but need a second card to run my 3rd and 4th monitors. Anything with dual DVI or DVI and HDMI are fine. I want at least something as good as my 7600GT and I only want a nVidia card. Whatcha got? I need cheap otherwise I'll just keep one of my 7600's and make less selling the other.
  15. Lol, you need to fix that ASAP. I have my money and my wife has her's. There is no "our" money.
  16. Did you buy it with her money or something?
  17. Let me get this right - you bought him a what was a $190+ receiver (obviously depends on the model - I assume new, and the cheapest "Buy it Now" for any Denon receiver on E-bay is $189). Yet he buys you a $29.99 Mr. Beer kit. Nice! I hear the same things. My boss, when he was seperated and in the process of getting a divorce, had his soon to be ex-wife pull a couple grand from his bank account. What is best about this - her name was never on the account, ever. He was more than a bit salty about that.
  18. Buy it back. When my Blazer was rear ended and totaled years ago, I bought it back, and simply sold it wrecked on E-bay - made a few hundred more dollars (bought it back for around $200, sold for a little over $600, and the thing wasn't exactly nice before it was hit).
  19. I was thinking that too - BSME + 2 years experience in that field for 40-50k...ouch.
  20. PS3 is so much more than a gaming system. I didn't even own a game for mine for almost a year after getting it. I hadn't played a game on it for a few months until I just got GT5...yet it is used almost daily in my house. - Streaming Netflix - Streaming programs I download - use my desktop as a file server and stream files over. Very easy to setup with PS3 Media Server - Blu-ray player - Streaming music (again, PS3 Media Server at work) - Web surfing (I don't do that often with it, but can). - Awesome picture viewer - especially when you have guests over, as it is far easier than hovering over a PC to look at it. Another PS3 Media Server use. My wife loves it too, and uses it even when I'm not around. As for the Wii, I moved that to the TV we rarely use, as I was hoping it might get more use there then on our main setup. Nope. At least mod-chip / soft mod you Wii so you aren't blowing cash on games for it. Canadamods.ca
  21. That's an interesting area rug you keep under the coffee table.
  22. Any links on how it works? I assume it is a special kind of cup being used.
  23. Ouch...$4.16 sq/ft for carpet. I would have went with a nice laminate. I'm not a big carpet fan though.
