When did GM make a right hand drive GTO?
-
Safe Auto is barely an insurance company...it is for people that can't get insurance elsewhere. What they say means nothing in comparison to other insurance providers.
-
They sure do look sweet. After being stuck with my 06 F150 company truck for a couple years now, Ford would have to work REALLY hard to make me want to spend my own money on one.
-
When have you started a comical thread?
-
If you are going to post a thread titled "Bad ass Gto's" that has links to 4 videos, don't you think at least ONE of those videos should have a GTO in it?
-
a) Not necessarily true at all, especially at these price points. It is also a 32V DOHC motor vs a 16V OHV motor. I can give a number of examples of smaller displacement motors making more power than larger displacement motors (that are motors that would compete against eachother in the same price point/target market). b) You will loose a few more % through an AWD driveline, but it won't come close to making up the difference.
-
Are you a little slow?
-
I guess Mustangs shouldn't go to Mustang week either.
-
To a few of you WRX, Supra, and 300ZX owners on this site: Here is your proof that your sideways fart can is not necessary to make power. The only thing more annoying than a melon launcher on the back of a car is the crooked melon launchers. This is how the exhaust SHOULD look on this kind of car.
-
You are missing the point. The LS7 is physically smaller, gets better fuel mileage, lighter, and makes more power. Who cares if it was 20L? That means nothing to the end user.
-
If your fuel economy for displacement is so correct, why does the EPA rate the 4.2L Audi R8 at 12 MPG city, 19 MPG highway, and 15 MPG combined, while the much higher HP 2010 Z06 is rated at 15 MPG city, 24 MPG highway, 18 MPG combined. Seeing a picture of the R8 engine bay, the motor looks nearly the same length as an LS7, but wider.

Really? I did mine in under an hour with a $45 Autozone special that worked great. It was years ago, found some write-up that had pics that had exactly where to drill. Wasn't a big deal at all - was actually easier than I anticipated.

My speaker setup on my rig is very good, so that's not an issue. I'm a bit more concerned about the webcam side of things.
-
My wife wants me to get us setup with Skype, so she can video call her family in Newfoundland. I installed the ap in our iPhones, and it actually worked well for 3G to 3G calls between our phones (no video). I'm not into the webcam thing, so I don't have any laying around. Any good suggestions for a webcam/microphone setup. We have a pretty decent USB headset, but I'd rather just use a microphone + speakers vs. having a headset on while doing a video call. Any suggestions on what works well and has good video quality? I've never gave 2 craps about video calling before, and we have free LD to Canada, but this is something she wants, so I want to make it work well.

Just need to install PlayOn, then you can watch ESPN 3 through the PS3. Not that it matters, since I'm stuck with Time Warner where I live, and they don't offer it.
-
- Sure do - any person with a decent TV should use Blu-ray. This alone is enough for me to have no use for an Xbox 360. - Stream all my downloaded shows/movies through PS3 very easily - Netflix - Websurfing (I don't much on it, but you can) - Stream all my music through it Overall, the PS3 is a great gaming system, excellent Blu-ray player (3D compatiable too), and connects very nicely to a number of media servers (I prefer the PS3 Media Server). I'm not much of a gamer, and owned it a year before ever even buying a game for it. Or you can buy an Xbox 360 and pay another ~$200 for a stand-alone Blu-ray player that is on the same level as the PS3.

I bet that LS7 is physically smaller in dimensions (where it really matters for packaging), and weighs less than that 4.2L. Why does displacement matter on a street car? There is a black on black R8 V10 rag top parked in front of my neighbor's house right now...looks AMAZING. This TT car looks great excluding the wing.

Most likely a Briggs. My 05 54" Husky has a 22HP Briggs in it.
-
To the exact left of my head, nothing until I get to the window. I guess the blinds could be used as a weapon.
-
In the country - yes. In a large-lot neighborhood - no. Well, excluding homes that are in questionable neighborhoods, it is slim pickings at the 200k price point. Yep, I've seen a number of houses in the country for that around us in the 200's...a few are pretty nice too.
-
Whenever it comes out, I will buy it. No rush, I use my PS3 almost daily, and haven't played a game on it in months. How many of you XBox fan boys can say that?
-
I just picked random houses in those neighborhoods...I didn't even look to see if the house was any good. We looked at homes of all ages, and ended up going newer. Of course if you want just land + house, that's a whole other ball game, as I was only looking at land inside of neighborhoods. Just random land + house has a lot more to choose from.

Is it this house? http://her.realliving.com/Property/Details.aspx?PropID=16260725 Only one is Powell even close to your description. Sweet house!

We looked at a house in this neighborhood, where this house is located: http://her.realliving.com/Property/Details.aspx?PropID=15812215 Nice, wooded lots, very good access to everything. We just weren't a fan of the homes in our budget in this neighborhood at the time, but obviously selections are different than they were 1.5 years ago. We drove through this neighborhood - didn't look at anything as it was too pricey for us, but was a very nice area: http://her.realliving.com/Property/Details.aspx?PropID=14739264 My wife and I are friends with a couple in this neighborhood (this house I am linking is by far one of the least expensive houses there...many are 1 million+). The area is uber sweet and will only keep going up in value: Edit: For some reason this one won't link, but just search MLS: 210003909 The house directly next to mine will likely be on the market in the next few weeks. Was a forclosed home that has sat empty for 3+ years, but whoever bought it has been working on it for months, and has done some really good work outside. I mostly have seen them inside, so I am guessing they have been doing a lot of correction work to get it restored back to its former glory. 4 bed, 5.5 bath, 1.9 acres, 5000 sq/ft ranch, I am guessing they will be asking somewhere in the 600's. No other houses in my neighborhood are for sale...they usually don't stay on the market long when they are. NW Powell area. Knowing your general budget would help a lot. If it is 200k, you are going to be shit out of luck. If 800k+, there are a LOT of houses on the market that would fit your exact needs. I am guessing you are somewhere in between those numbers.
