  1. The lineup is getting a lot better. Still tons of room for improvement, but is far better than it was several months ago.
  2. That return rate only works without inflation. 50k in 20 years is probably more like 30k in today's dollars. 27k seems high for that car. At the same time, if you want an IROC-Z for your collection, where will you find a better one (in terms of mileage/condition)?
  3. I've been using more of their streaming service lately (mainly TV shows), and last night, I got a notice saying to download the application for my PS3, and that I can throw away the disc. Looks like the Microsoft Xbox 360 contract is up. Had to do an update for my PS3 (which was for the 3D support...now I just need to get the transmitter/glasses), and installed the Netflix application. The interface is a lot nicer looking, more functionality, and more user friendly. Not having to put a disc in is nice. I assume the Wii no longer needs a disc either, but I never use the Wii for Netflix streaming, so I can't confirm.
  4. And that's only if he is close to a CO - further you get, the worse UVerse gets. It's amazing how many people try out Uverse and switch back a couple weeks later. Hell, they keep laying off employees; I've interviewed a bunch and hired a couple of them.
  5. PM me with your address and I can probably get a number of you a better rate than what you are paying with your current provider. Especially you Brian - that's highway robery!
  6. I saw that red Countach w/ the gold wheels at Evan's Auto a week or two ago.
  7. Really? JD Power disagrees with you. First in TV, Uverse has good toys, when they work How does a phone company lose on phone to a small cable company? 4th place even!
  8. What makes you assume I was suggesting Blacklick or Gahanna? I don't recall mentioning either of those, nor did the OP. All my suggestions were north...where the growth is.
  9. Why's that? I live in a neighborhood where everyone has 1.5 - 2 acre lots. It's in Powell instead of the area he is looking (and 35 minutes from CMH), but there are other areas like this in town. We looked at a place in Galena with a similar setup, as well as an area off of Polaris Parkway that has 1+ acres lots as well.
  10. Sadly, unless your payments for the home are well below what it can be rented for, you will lose money monthly with a management company. Wish I could afford to have one with my rental.
  11. We are looking to make a second living room in our loft. We already purchased a light colored leather recliner/rocker, and want a dark colored sofa to go with it. - Needs to be from a clean & smoke-free home; this is a must - Needs to be in good condition, with many years of life left in it - Must be well under new price, otherwise we will just buy new We saw a few we were interested in shopping around today, but I wanted to see what was in the used market. Craigslist doesn't seem to have much.
  12. I have a Laserjet 1018. I can't imagine why anyone would waste their money on an Inkjet after owning a Laser. Mine has paid for itself many times over!
  13. See any Aerial Atoms there? That's where they are made now.
  14. Alright, tomorrow is the day. I spoke with Jaron, looks like he is in if we can leave later in the morning. I'll most likely be riding my wife's quad, as I haven't had a chance to look at my motor issue again on my Raptor. Who else - let's get a plan going!
  15. The price of F355's have come down to an "affordable" level...as in, less than a new Vette now if you look hard enough and it isn't an F1 equipped car.
  16. My math is spot the fuck on. How about I show you in screen shots, from the site you used, with each thing I calculated. #1: 1 byte = 8 bits http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=168&pictureid=4515 #2: 1.4MB/s = 11.2 Mb/s http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=168&pictureid=4513 #3: 12 Mb/s > 11.2 Mb/s Seriously, do you need a picture to show you that 12 is greater than 11.2? What have I proven? - The statement was that 1.4 Megabytes a second is 11.2 Megabits a second. - Draco-REX stated that 1.4 Megabytes a second is very good from a 12 megabits a second connection. - Draco-REX then stated that it was slightly above, meaning at 1.4 Megbytes a second was actually FASTER than 12 megabits a second - I then proved that 1.4 Megabytes a second calculates out to 11.2 megabits a second - 11.2 megabits a second is .8 megbits a second SLOWER than 12 megabits a second - 12 > 11.2 I quoted Draco-REX - I didn't make ANY reference to your post. Yes, 12 Mb/s = 1.5 MB/s. Yes, your 11.51 Mb/s speed test = 1.43875 MB/s. In case you are curious, 12 is also greater than 11.51.
  17. Nope. Hmmm, I wonder if that is possible on this unit. I had to do that with the old unit in my wife's condo, as it used the dip switches and couldn't program to a Homelink setup. But a newer style adding on one, I'd have to look and see.
  18. Looks like I'll have to clean the carbs. Can't really seafoam it, since I can't run it hard enough to make a difference anyway. I really wish this was EFI - I hate carbs. I rebuilt the one on my boat and it worked perfectly the first time, so I'm sure I can handle these ones as well.
  19. The "dip switch" style is old-school. This is a rolling code opener, like any of the modern units. Basically you are saying clear it and re-program, hope it doesn't do it again. But if it does, how does that prove it is the circuit board vs. some other kind of frequency interference? On the key pad, old. On her two new hand-held units, new.
  20. You may want to recheck your math. 1 Byte = 8 bits 1.4MB/s = 11.2 Mb/s 12 Mb/s > 11.2 Mb/s That would make it .8 Mb/s slower, being slightly below, not above.
  21. - Work obligations - Family obligations - Hobbies you enjoy doing more (for me, I'd rather be out boating than at the track) - Time. Drag racing eats a LOT of time up, both being there, and prep to be there - Money. You can say that should have nothing to do with it, but money doesn't grow on trees, and if you want to have any real fun at the track, it is going to cost you.
  22. I got the toner for my HP Laser for about $15 on E-bay; works great.
  23. I fucking hate my rental property. So my constantly complaining tenant has a new issue. She says the garage door opener is only intermittently working with both the keypad and the two universal remotes she has. Hard button works perfectly every time. But when one wireless device doesn't work, none of the three work. I replaced the unit in 2006 or 2007 with a Craftsman unit - your standard 1/2HP package, came with some goodies. Never, EVER had this problem until now. Any ideas? Never had the issue with the old opener either (I lived in that house myself from 2002 until 2008).
  24. So what you are showing us is you aren't getting the 12Mbps you are paying for.
  25. BD Rebuilder. I am almost finished with my whole Blu-ray compression guide I have been creating, maybe I will get it done this week and post it up.
