  1. I used to sport one back in the late 90's with my 3rd Gen Camaro. Was covering some bad looking paint on the front...I know the dealer regretted what they gave me on trade for that car.
  2. I am currently sporting an Otterbox Impact case on my 3GS. It's decent, but after a couple months, is starting to tear at the screen corner. I'm happy with the protection it provides, but want something different - preferably with less rubber. I've read some good things about the Spek Candy Shell. I have a Body Glove snap-on case for my Blackberry Tour that I like a lot, and it would also be sufficient. Any good suggestions? I keep my phones in my pocket, so belt-clip designs are a no-go.
  3. Hope you don't have to replace that $4000 battery in it.
  4. I'll be at Buckeye Lake on Friday. Only day of the year worth putting a boat on that water.
  5. Ebay. Most of the head units on Ebay are brand new stuff. Besides, most of what Best Buy has is garbage.
  6. The pay is crap. The other dude went to a conference for $44.
  7. You have seen a 98+ WS6 T/A vs. a Camaro, right? That car is about as wildly different looks wise as those generation F-bodys were. Performance wise, GM would never do it - would be more power than the Z06, and they wouldn't have that.
  8. I don't own a North Face jacket. I do have the backpacks that come with the truck though. Trust me, I wouldn't have spent the money to option it with the package (was an expensive option - basically a loaded Avalanche with a few apperance items), but I bought her used, so someone else ate that cost instead of me.
  9. I haven't lived out east in a couple of years...I live in north west Powell. We rarely shop at Walmart - pretty much Kroger is our main place to get groceries, and the wife does all the shopping. I'll have to see if the wife is interested in shopping elsewhere, as she does the buying.
  10. North Face Editions are all Z71 4x4's.
  11. Let me guess, you use an antenna to watch TV too?
  12. It's not very hard to adjust your headlights down. I have HID for the headlights and fog lights for the Avalanche...I don't get anyone flashing their high beams at me.
  13. Sirius and Pandora > anything on welfare radio. Period.
  14. Then you would be wrong. Locking front and rear diffs.
  15. Wranglers tow like shit, ride like they tow, and have no bed. I do not need a Wrangler. I just need to keep out of the ditch...I didn't buy this thing to go off roading. I was hoping things would be a bit more eventful...saw a couple cars get loose, but that's about it. Still was a good time, and some great racing. Nitrous > Turbo in Pro-Mod!
  16. Odd...my wife is not a citizen, and has had no issues working here legally for the past 11 years. - Her family is not rich - She has no connections - Not a refugee in any way whatsoever Which also keeps making me wonder why everyone talks about making it easier to become a citizen. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES TO WORK HERE LEGALLY!!! I am amazed that people don't realize this.
  17. I bought a new tow strap and left the damn thing on a shelf in the garage. I thought I put in in there. I have tons of ratchet straps, bungee, etc.
  18. ??? Why do we need to make it easier for people to become a citizen?
  19. I've had plenty of laughs (and still do) at yours. Nike ACG's. Best Sandals ever...they are what Jesus would wear. I'm on my 4th pair. Tire pressure I didn't think of, though probably wouldn't have helped enough. I was afraid of smacking into a tree going to the right (there were a lot of pieces of wood stick through the weeds, almost hit a couple where I went through), though if I could have pulled it off, that would have got me out of the rut at least. I think I'll stick to offroading with quads instead.
  20. Very easy...increase import taxes, so that it doesn't make it cheaper to buy from them. We don't need to change the citizenship rules either...WTF does that have to do with working in the US? How do I do that? There is no label on an apple that says "legally grown and picked."
  21. Those have to have road noise. Funny enough, the Nittos are still great in the wet and snow. Since I have a company vehicle, I don't put many miles on the Avalanche any more, so those tires will likely last another 2 years. Hell, I pulled my company truck out of a snow drift with the Avalanche this past winter. Regardless of tires, I wasn't getting out of that. Really slick, and up on the frame most of the time on the passenger side. Thank god for that guy driving by, otherwise I would have had a nice tow bill getting out of that.
  22. They are Nitto Terra Grapplers. I don't want off-road tires on her...I didn't want to go off-roading. They sure as hell don't belong on a mini-van...they don't look as aggressive packed in mud - though they are worn out some (30k on them) which doesn't help.
  23. Coming back from watching the NHRA event at Norwalk today, my buddy had to take a leak - bad. Pulled on some random country side road, bust a U-turn, and when I was on the side of the road, it was slick and the truck slid down the ditch a couple of feet. I tried getting out, but it got worse at the end, and luckily I got pulled out by a guy driving by with a strap. http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/3236/img0129ac.jpg http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/1722/img0130t.jpg http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/1170/img0131xo.jpg http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/2317/img0132f.jpg http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/5802/img0133ja.jpg http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/6232/img0134ha.jpg http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/4366/img0135vf.jpg http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/8097/img0138mc.jpg
  24. Any idea on how much? I am also in the market for one...I'm not breaking my back again this year shoveling my damn driveway.
  25. I thought I saw your boat out there later this afternoon, cruising by while were we prepping for more boarding. I was out from about 4-7. I would have been out longer, but the wife left my depth finder on the last time we were out, put the boat in...wouldn't start. Had enough juice for the blower, but not enough to crank over. Pulled it back out of the water, strapped her down, drove back to the house and charged it for a bit, and luckily we were good to go from there. Got two rounds of wakeboarding and a round of slalom in, then got hit by the rain as I was pulling out of the water.
