    Yeah, it does nothing for me. I spent $39000 on new cars last year and the taxes paid was a little over $3600, but i paid well over that in state/local income tax. So it's either or, not in addition to. Damn Gov't, makes no sense to me!

    U need to come look at my house the next time u r in the hood. 3 bedroom 3 full bath 2500+ total sq feet, with 1600+ living space full basement with new finished room 16x20 media room (pimp). oversized 2 car garage with storage, cathedral thru out, fire place, lake lot. $1000/month with option to rent to own.

    Can I write off home improvements? like finshing the basement? also, when you trade in a car on a new one and flip the negative into the new loan, do you pay tax on that amount? Or, just on the price of the new vehicle?

    Cool. We need to get this salt off the road first. We need to get some killer footage this spring. I'm willing to mount several cameras to my roll bar. Assuming it's atleast 60 degrees I will put the top down. We can get multiple angles. One camera looking back of course!
