DLP is by far the best you can buy and you get the most for your $$$ ("it's the mirrors"). Plasma's SUCK! They use way more energy than LCD and have 10-15 circuit boards, compaired to a LCD that has 2-5. Plasma's get hot! If you're not trying to be like an episode of "MTV Cribs", go DLP and go 1080p. If you are steping up from an old school Tube TV, a LCD projection would amaze you.

Good Lord, a lamp! My dog doesn't eat/chew stuff anymore, other than cat shit when he gets the chance. Actually he used to eat my sons socks and my wife went through a few pairs or slippers. Dogs are weird.

Oh...my son, who just turned 5yrs old yesterday now has a 20" LCD above his bunk bed, with a DVD player and Digital Cable box. He also has a 36" in his play room for his Vtech. He's a baller.

I've learned my lesson on this subject. If you can get an extended warranty at a decent price, then go for it. I personally buy nothing but big names when it comes to a purchase that much $$ and ALWAYS get the extended warranty REGARDLESS. Circuit City is great. Their customer service is awesome and the warranty can always be purchased or extended later. Just do your research. For example, Samsung Plasma's suck, but their LCD's rock. I bought a 50" Samsung Plasma before the LCD's got bigger/cheaper (about 2 years ago) and it quit working sporadically. After some research and one call to Circuit city I had a new DLP with no questions asked. My Mitsu DLP (1080p) makes my Samsung look stupid. Panasonic makes some great LCD's as well. Call Circuit City and ask to talk to a field tech, he will know best. I think the guys name is Sam or something, some old man, he knows his shit.

Do your research on the breeder! American Bulldogs are cool and so are olde english (i'm partial). You should come over and meet Guss. He is great with kids and is VERY smart. Joey's Aunt breeds top notch Olde English Bullies. I just love my dog, he makes me laugh EVERY day! His big water head ,the underbite and teeth. He's a hoot! So animated and emotional.

Getting the gun out was the right thing but you should have called the cops and NEVER opened the door. Like Brian said, showing the gun, even in a non-aggressive manner was a mistake also. Another thing people need to be careful about is when a stranger comes over to the house to pick something up that you have for sale (craigslist etc). Always try to meet the person somewhere or if that is not an option be sure to have a back up plan (weapon near by) in case shit goes down. If you come to my house to buy/pick up something, my 9 is always on my side.
