  1. Just to update how far I've come in the last 6 months. This week I'm helping Jason Line and Greg Anderson with some valvetrain testing in North Carolina.
  2. Yep they had a display there that shows how it works. Really neat stuff.
  3. who gives a fuck... not I.
  4. Yeah... unless you're writing the menu. I know how that is though. I transfered out of a "regular" college to a technical school to follow my real passion. So far so good. tC is ok. I have to put all my suspension goodies on in time for the first OSU autocross.
  5. I got a sneak peak of the 8.4L Viper GTS 3 months ago at SRTs tech center. It's fucking sweet.
  6. Did you graduate from OU?
  7. No. We don't make Comps springs as of last year. They wanted to start cutting corners to save money... I'm not familar with that part number. Link? We still make/sell under our own name most of what comp sells because we designed all of there springs
  8. Yes, I know he was considering another one too.
  9. Seriously call mike. It's a nice place.
  10. You're right. Brakes are overrated.
  11. king king king kong. You can hear me before you see me...
  12. I'm gonna try to do all the OSU event in the Scion. I have my suspension and brakes coming this week.
  13. sorry, I can't help as I know nothing about supras or cars in general.
  14. Probably. I stop by every once and awhile. I'll be there a lot this summer using the chassis dynos.
  15. Yeah I was at the Kallita shop yesterday and you could tell everyone was in a somber mood I met Eric last fall. Damn good person.
  16. I would say the difference would be more from the different intake styles.
  17. No CV doesn't have anything for them. The OD is very small on these springs compared to most other Cup springs. That is why they would work in an LSX head. The spring is 30-50 grams lighter then what most of our competitors make. Del West could make some for you. $$$ They may even have a drawing still because they have made them for other customers. But like I said the spring is just a small part of making a valvetrain stable at 10,000 rpm. BTW this has got me thinking about starting a new project with a goal of finding a stable LSX valvetrain combination good for 8500 RPM+. So far I haven't found anything that runs well past 8000 RPM. Our springs live, but the rockers/retainers/pushrods we have don't. At 9,000 RPM I'm pulling needle bearings from the rockers out of the oil pan I've only hit the tip of the iceberg when it comes to extreme LSX valvetrains (8000+ RPM and .700+ lift). Most of my time recently has been spent working with Nascar and Pro stock teams. But now I have some time to start a few of my own projects.
  18. Not as much as you would think. THe problem is that you would have to find someone to make custom retainers for you since most cup teams make there own. The spring is also designed for titanium valves.
  19. I have a spring for you. Seriously... it's a Cup spring that would fit an LS-1 application. Good for 10,000 rpm and up to .850ish lift. Very stable. Now the other parts of your engine.... that's up to you.
  20. Truer words haven't been spoken. I"ve done a lot of LSX valvetrain testing recently. It takes a really nice valvetrain on an LSX to keep everything together and happy at 8000 rpm let alone 9k. Trust me I've broken a lot of parts
  21. It would probably be even better if turbo was up in the engine compartment.
  22. Very nice. I've been thinking about a bike too. I need to get my supra running first though.
  23. Take a look at our beehive catalog and tell me what you want.
