I've done about 5 rear ends now. Took about 300 ft lbs to crush the crush sleeve. Just used a 1/2 drive break bar with a cheater bar on the end and a yoke holder. Although the rear end was out of the car and made it a lot easier. YOu also don't want to over crush it either.

1 washer shim makes me hit fuel cut. Hell in the cold weather. I can hit cut with no boost control in 5th gear. I love my S-AFR. But its useless right now at 11 psi. btw a link probably would have been better then coping and pasting all that info.

THey use CAT and Cummins engines in the commercial super dutys. But IMO cat is overrated.

I personally like Cummins (Dodge). Powerstrokes arn't bad either. You going to have helluva time getting a clear cut answer to which is better. Because the the ford people say their truck is better and the chevy people say their truck is better. I'd take the ford or the dodge over the duramax any day though.

what cable service do you have? If its built in your good to go, if not see if your provider has an HD box. For us timer warner gave us a HD box for the same price as a regular box.
