  1. That video is pretty old. I believe its some kind of training video.
  2. my buddy had a 97 318 in HS. Man that thing was a POS.
  3. Also the towing company will have something called "on hook" liability insurance which would cover damage to your car.
  4. uhh if you got caught speeding who would you take you court?? What you said doesn't make any sense. anyway the tow truck company is liable for any damage that occurs while they towing your car. Proving they did it will be hard but I hope you win. The damage looks pretty extensive.
  5. wow how big a file are those. I have access to them as well here at school but its all online.
  6. I've done a endo before. Scary as shit. Almost straight up. btw it was on a yzf 50 smile.gif
  7. wow I didn't know they had MD that held that much. I didn't think anybody still cared about MD.
  8. I don't know of any handhelds that hook up to your tv or one that you would want to. Its just a handheld version of PS2. The UMD is much more then a mini-disc. I don't know how much memory a minidisc can hold but it's nowhere near 1.8 GB that the UMD holds. The media formats do not have to be encrypted. Maybe the Full feature films that come on the UMDs but it will still play the usual mpg4 and mp3 files. I don't know what you mean by the plugs weren't standard. Memory Stick Duo slot USB slot External power supply terminals Battery charging terminals Headphone / Microphone plugs Pretty standard stuff. And of course sony is going to use there own brand of memory stick. All of their electronics (computers, Cameras) do. Wouldn't make sense to use a competitors brand. Hope this helps. I'd get a PSP but I don't have 250 bucks to blow on one.
  9. Movie files are just mpeg4. Can be saved easily to a Sony memory stick. Music files can also be mp3 (not proprietary ). I don't understand how you can bitch about the UMD discs. Nintendo has their own cartridges. A standard DVD is too big for a handheld. It also has a stardard USB plug. Yeah you have to use a Sony memory stick but they are pretty mainstream and have been around for awhile. What do you want? A slot of every memory stick So the only things that are really proprietary are the discs and the memory sticks. Which is what you would expect. PSP>DS Sony did screw up on a few things. Marketing. Most people don't even know about the psp let alone that it came out a few days ago. No TV ads, not much buzz. Another is the release date. March isn't a very hot month to launch a handheld system. Should have done it around Christmas. [ 28. March 2005, 07:25 PM: Message edited by: Doug ]
  10. GM is still running their company like they have 40 percent of the market share. Times have changed, they need to cut their product line and let some of their upper management go. Also give Lutz more power.
  11. Post is kind of confusing. cliffs?
  12. jesus do you want the whole game to play itself.
  13. uhh thats why they put B-spec mode on there. SO you can start the race and walk away.
  14. I don't know about an outing but if a few people wanted to play a quick round on a sat or sun this summer I could host something at Wedgewood.
  15. Yeah most of the hardcore Porsche track guys will switch to blanks or slotted anyway. The main reason Porcshe cross "drills" them is for weight savings not for cooling.
  16. Newer Porsche rotors have the holes casted into to them when they are being made. THey are not drilled after the rotor was made so they hold up pretty well compared to regular drilled rotors.
  17. DO you work at lowes. I think I saw your car there last weekend.
  18. If its under warrenty just have it replaced or looked at. My grand am would sometimes do it and usually slamming the door shut would get it to work again. I guess it was sticking in the track somewhere.
  19. Jeremy isn't a 911 fan
  20. Never bought one. Used to sell them too. I just usually don't have the money to buy it. Plus manufactures are starting to actually handle warrenty claims correctly. IE. If my tv breaks in 15 months samsung will come out and fix it.
  21. Schools place a huge emphasis on diagnosing and troubleshooting skills. Actually probably most of the classes focus around that. Because like you said any idiot can just bolt on parts. Out in the field you're not gonna get away with just bolting on parts until the problem gets fixed.
