Haskins has been as advertised so far. He makes the hard throws look easy, and the regular throws look like he's just playing catch in his backyard. Granted, it has been against inferior and depleted backfields so far. Also, the threat he offers seems to have really opened up the running game, and both Weber and Dobbins seem to be running hella hard now that they know they don't have to compete for carries with JT. Through two games, the squad is looking pretty damned good.

Any thoughts on whether or not the fact that Day doesn't have Urb looking over his shoulder has "freed them up" to call the game he wants to? How many more QB keepers are we seeing if Urban is calling the plays?

You are either stupid, or a troll. I said then that if he KNEW about this shit and DIDN'T REPORT IT, he had to go. That was based upon the evidence at the time. With what has come to light since then, it appears that he knew, but also that he DID report it as he is required to. If that is the case, then what he actually did was lie to the press, which is hardly something I would think he should be fired for. The last thing i wanted was for Urb to lose his job, but you can't fuck around with this kind of thing in his position.

I'm 50/50 on it now. I hope that it's true, and that the university has documented proof that they did their due diligence back then. I'm just worried that they didn't. Zach Smith didn't exactly throw Urb under the bus in his interview, which I think is what a lot of folks thought he would do.

As far as Archie being the AD, I thought they offered him that position back before they hired Gene, but he turned it down. Hell, as head of the Alumni Association, he was essentially OVER the AD.

I am not trying to marginalize Courtney and what she apparently is having to go through, however let the facts evolve and come out. Stop with the pitch fork emotions and lets break this down. Some of it looks damning, but much or it seems counter to the law/facts/OSU's knowledge.

 

I would hope Urban is not dumb enough to try and Jerry Sandusky level bury something, if he did he deserves to go down with the ship.

Man, I LOVE the Buckeyes, and I hate that Urb is going down for this. That being said, he IS going to go down for this. Unless, as I said, Shelley falls on her sword...and even then it's iffy. But look, let's be clear, Urb ANd Shelley are considered "mandatory reporters" as a result of Urban being a state employee and being bound by title IX provisions. If someone goes to them and reports abuse, they are bound by law to report it to their superiors. If Urban KNEW (and if you think Shelley knew and didn't tell him, then you have an interesting take on the marriage relationship) and didn't report it to his superiors...he's gonna fall. The only other way I can see that he get's out of this is that the university comes out and says "Urb told us about it, we investigated, found no evidence of wrongdoing, and told him to let it drop", but there's a pretty fat chance of that happening.

Unless Shelley Meyer comes out and says to the world that she never told Urban because she KNEW that he would fire Zach....he gone. Either by resignation or firing. And if he DID know about this shit, then he deserves to get canned.

I honestly don't know. I know that it's pretty tight trying to fit ADULTS in the back seat, especially if the folks in the front need to scoot the seats back at all. If you are legit interested, I'd be happy to meet you at some point so that you could test the fit.
