  1. I got matched springs for the cam.
  2. Oh and linns jet ski will never run again.
  3. New bottom end is together. Gonna have ips go thru the heads and clean them up, then it's basically slap the heads and intake on and pull the old motor out and drop in the new one.
  4. How often have you heard of people having cams getting wiped out due to to heavy of a spring. They recommend that you remove the inner spring on dual springs during break in of the cam. I have talked to a few people who have not done this and had no issues. Anyone with any experience of this.
  5. Lol at it only being half a mile from my house.
  6. The springs on a set of heads are good to .475 lift. The cam exhaust is .477 with 1.5 rockers. The heads are from a roller cam. The new cam is a flat tappet. Rockers will be stock 350 vortec rockers. Will the springs hold?
  7. Holy shit dude getting hit in the head by the mast
  8. Yeah there was to many people on board for that prop. Had I had the 19 on there, it would of came out alot faster.
  9. 05 here and averaging 20-22 on freeway at 65mph. I got a edge tuner and full exhaust. I also changed all my filters and fluids every 10k.
  10. Welp a 23 pitch is to much for a stock 350. Actually lost mph due to not having enough hp to spin the prop. I prolly lost 3-500 rpm up top. Plus it took forever to plane out. Putting a new ignition on this week to see how that helps.
  11. I'll be on Buckeye tomorrow just getting her broke back in from storage then to do a full fluid change.
  12. I cant remember who does it on here. I need someone to build a box for my boat. I want someone who knows how to position the stuff to get the most sound out of it.
  13. This was today. http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t214/ls2sam/?action=view&current=IMG957092.mp4 Still the stock motor. Fowler is taking forever to clean up my crank for the new motor.
  14. low to mid 70's The crank should be done next week so I am gonna start piecing it back together then. Just let me know.
  15. The details are overwhelming. But who cares what it is. We need more boats to tie up with on the lake. Honestly we only race prolly 20 mins out of the day of boating. It costs to much to race all day.
  16. Also there no speed limit on the water.
  17. Linn has it right. We had 4 girls half naked on the boat when it blew. Still had a great night. Although it's not as easy as just jumping in a car and rolling out, it's still fun. Racing is racing no matter what vehicle it is. It's all fun.
  18. Matt, I prolly will have to do the same outta the hole. I dunno how much hp a alpha can hold. I thought somewhere I read 400hp but I am not 100% on that. I am actually now talking to the guy that built that triple digit boat. He is telling me 70+ mph should no issue on my boat with 375hp. Hopefully the motor will make that which I think it should with no problems.
  19. Why yes I do. Please tell me how..
  20. I got a 95 dsm I would love to dig race you with.
  21. Even though I prolly will be the slowest this yr outta us I am still gonna give er hell. I figured drop the built vortec in this year, add blower next, hurt Tommys feelings on the water.
  22. Tommy's boat against mine. HEADS UP!!!!!!!!!! The almighty tree fifty can never lose. It was built by Jesus himself.
  23. I would rock that first Honda. Swap out the wheels and roll in a good daily.
