My son and I were driving down Steltzer and was turning onto Morse crossing around 11 today. I was probably going 45ish? I dunno. normal speed there. I see way up in the distance a car flashes their brights at me. Uhh.. ok. Then as I come closer and I'm stopped waiting to make my left turn, he drives by and points his finger at me. WTF? I know I wasn't speeding, but I guess 5-8 mph over the speed limit is bad. It wasn't raining so he can't be complaining about having my lights on. I do have daytime running lights though? Can cops clock you speeding if you are driving towards each other?

He lost it when he moved up from Florida. He still has Florida tags on it and he still has the Florida registration. The reason he can't file for a new title is that somehow he owes back taxes on his old Integra and Florida BMV won't release a new title until the taxes are paid. (if that makes sense.) It's ok. My mother in-law just didn't have the starter engaged for very long . It runs, starts, and drives fine . The only thing she has EVER owned was a Ford. It'll take some time to get used to the GP.

I'm pretty sure it was the front valve cover gasket and the not the rear. It's caused by the gasket being shit and when you brake the motor rocks forward causing the oil to push out the front of the gasket.

I know because I've changed at least 15 of them. They all fail. Ask any real GP owner. Best way to see if they've been changed or need changed is pop off the engine cover and look where the injectors plug into the LIM. There's little "cups" in the valley of the manifold that will hold a good inch of oil and you'll never see it drop to the ground.

And he wants to get rid of it for like $200. 305 motor. Blown up. No title, florida car with NO rust as he says. Before posting a FS thread, would anyone be interested? I guess the color is the silver/gray they had back them.

It's not past the warranty. It wasn't sold "as is", but has a 30 day FULL warranty. She's only driven it 3 days and we took it back in to be worked.

Returning a car from a dealership? Mother in-law picked up the 02 GPGT a few weeks ago. Picked it up last Monday, Friday I took it in and told them about the lower intake gaskets and the alignment. Fast forward to last night. I picked up the car. Ran fine. They did all the work under the 30 day warranty. Drove it to mother in-laws house and went home. Today she gets in it and she calls and said the oil light is on and it won't stay running. It could be a vac line, it could be a blown motor (scares me with the oil light on). I'm going to call Dave Gill tonight after I look at it and make them tow it to their shop to look at it. What do you think it would take for us to try to get out of this deal? Is it even possible? I know they could fix it and/or just replace the motor, but what else could be wrong with it? Is there a way I could just say "hey, we dont' want this car, we want the money back, and we're backing out of this deal". ? Edit - Picked up the car on June 29th. Told them about the gasket on July 3rd. Picked it up on the 8th.
