  1. That is the best solution to any problem.</font>I agree. But when you do torch the car, you have to record it and post the video.
  2. Yes, changing a clutch on a FWD car is a pain in the ass, I did mine not too long ago with the help of bigbabyjesus. You're going to have to take out the axels and drop the tranny. You really should find someone who has access to a garage with a lift. We did it in my garage, and I will never again do it there.
  3. Ok, I used to have a turbo one and an n/a one. They are fun ass cars. They're pretty light and you whip the ass end out really easy, even in the n/a. You can tell them apart, because the turbo had a hood scoop like the RX-7 Turbo II. They have a pretty good top end......well over 100 mph. I know, because I used to race my brothers Firebird from here to Cincy pretty often and he couldn't keep up due to the infamous GM speed limiter. Like I said before they're really fun to drive, but if you can find one, make the obvious choice and go with a turbo. EDIT: BTW, the tach on those things are pretty sweet. They're LED lights that go across the guage pod and start at green and as you get into higer RPMs it gets yellow then red. And it has a digital speedometer. 4. Once in a while I get a light coat of rust on my slotted rotors. All I do to clean it off is drive down the street and push the brake pedel that makes the car stop tongue.gif and the rust comes right off. It's not a big issue at all unless you let the rust build up too long.
  5. Hey Mark, let me know if you need any help putting your car back together. I don't start my new job until the 18th. So, I'm free pretty much everyday until then.
  6. Just wait until he gets some yellow ones. Those are the REAL power adders!!!!

  8. What good is a lug nut wrench with no spare tire? </font>Because you can always find someone with a jack, just not always someone with the same size lug nuts.
  9. Well, you could start by taking out the spare tire, jack, but not the lug wrench (you never know when you'll need it). And then if you want to get a little more extreme, but want to be able to put the car back together easily you take out the seats....all but the driver's seat. You could take out all your stereo equipment, and if you still want to listen to some music take out everything but the deck and front speakers.
  10. If you want to do a rear disc conversion then you'll need to get it from a Civic hatchback Si or CRX Si.
  11. I don't have a band saw, but I do have a scroll saw, and maybe some metal cutting blades for it. And if that doesn't work, then I have a Saws All, and a Dremel. So, I'm sure one of them can cut whatever you need cut.
  12. Trade it in for a lighter car? tongue.gif
  13. Ok, I did a little digging for you and found a nice surprise. It might not be as cheap as you're looking for, but here you go........ http://yota1man.tripod.com/vtecwagon/index.html
  14. LMAO.....that car is a real P.O.S. Tell your friend not to waist his time or money on it.
  15. PM bigbabyjesus. He'll know for sure. If not then he'll be able to let you know what product would be best for that.
  16. Well, see your whole problem is the fact that you're using a Turtle Wax product. They're the worst on the market!!!! Use Meguire's Professional.
  17. Ok, ask on this forum. There's ALOT of MKIII owners that can help you. Here's a link to the registration page. It's a Yahoo group, so you'll need a Yahoo account. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/OhioSupras/
  18. I always did too, it was either these or 99-00 Civic Si wheels. And of course they make my car go faster.....DUH. tongue.gif
  19. Yea, that is my friend Jesse's car. Its really sweet. I cant wait till he turns up the boost. </font>Yeah, Force Fed gets their engines from here in town from a place called "Japanese Direct" it's out on Westerville Rd. The place is in the phone book. They import engines directly from Japan. The prices are a little higher than most places, but you don't have to pay for S/H since you jus pick it up from them.
  20. Good, and like I said in the other thread. I'm going to get 2 from you Friday night. EDIT: Oh yeah, I want 2 silver ones. [ 08 October 2002, 11:19 AM: Message edited by: VTEC Wheels ® ]

  22. You's a quick one! tongue.gif </font>Yeah, they even say Acura, just like GSR wheels do.
  23. I've seen the Honda factory, does that qualify me as a "Factory Honda Tech"?
  24. Just go to one of the auto parts stores with a pen and some paper or to the library and copy it down from one of the manuals.
  25. Yeah, go ahead and ask jesus about his dsm.
