  1. If it get's warmer here, but colder somewhere else *cough* southern hemisphere *cough* then it's not getting warmer or colder globally.
  2. Magical chimera bunny turned into skier. Good bunny. http://www.wendychao.com/ski/easter/ski_bunny.jpg
  3. Oh, no! The eagle crashed into, then morphed with the bunny, bad chimera. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/21/24512492_fcce312b2a.jpg?v=0
  4. Oh no! The eagle got the bunny, never mind. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c342/zvoncic/stupid-eagle.jpg

  6. Them funding terrorist activities didn't constitute as 'bat shit crazy' to you?
  7. BTW, Titan AE (ice field scene) if you want your sub to cry. I think my only required viewing when I get the receiver and set it up is the 1st Matrix movie. Maybe Alien, but I don't know how the surround sound mix is on that yet... Jurassic Park (T-Rex scene).
  8. Elevator Rock Filet http://www.elevatorbrewing.com/ It (aged filet) comes out on a big board with a stone heated to 450degF inset into it. Cut and cook every piece exactly how you want it. Comes with 3 or 4 dipping sauces (au ju, some spicy mustard, etc.). Comes with their house salad which is really good too, has some tasty candied almonds on it, and I don't even like almonds. 1 side, get the (dirty) mashed potatoes. The place is amazing, make sure to look at the big stained glass portrait of an angle/saint on the right wall in the back and look at her gown she has on. Go into the little areas in the front and look up. Go play pool on the tables from the late 1800's. Check out everything in the front bar area, AFAIK lots of original stuff there from the late 1800's. It was a bar back then too. They make their own (good) beer too if you're a beer drinker. Get a sampler if you've never been. You can get 6 or all 12 and the samples are 3oz's. Enough to split between 2 people. They are relatively cheap, less than their beer's are/oz.
  9. Don't really know any of those speaker companies, but glad you like them. I was ecstatic about the spec list on the 606 when I first read about it. I still cross shopped and couldn't find anything that had the same stuff. I had an old Onkyo surround receiver and loved it, glad I'm getting another.
  10. Funny, I just got my new (5.1) speaker set today. Still waiting on the receiver and my current one is just stereo so I can only hook up 2.1 for now. What did you get? I got an Onkyo TX-SR606 and these. If you need cables you should order from http://www.bluejeanscable.com/ Waiting to hear on the extra price of a second sub added to the set and may order it. Yeah, living in an apartment with a nice system... I'm going to crank it up on a movie as soon as I get it set up anyways.
  11. Good man. We'll have to have you guys over to the new place soon now that we are all settled in. How are you guys doing?
  12. Yup. Art degree from the Art College. I'm not even sure there is a general 'art' degree. You can get a degree in art history, ceramics, painting.... There's actually a lot of 'science' in ceramics. He was going to go into mechanical engineering, so it makes sense. Just like you get a biology or chemistry degree from the science college and not a science degree. Or an accounting or some other worthless business degree and not a general business degree from the business college. Or a journalism degree and not a writing degree.
  13. Let us know if those don't pan out. My buddy has a degree in ceramics and lives in Columbus, so he knows where to get stuff. I can put a call into him.
  14. Alum Creek mountain bike trails, local sidewalks/pathways, Mad River Mountain. Likes: It's not working out in a fucking gym.
  15. I know for a fact I found out about it from Aaron originally.
  16. Ummm, no. We probably both heard about it from Aaron. I know that's who I heard about it from.
  17. There will be almost no 'top' level auto racing in 2009. It's just a matter of when enough teams from each series announce their withdraw for 2009 for that particular series to go 'dormant' for 2009. Everything's changing. Welcome to the global economy.
  18. Final death toll was 5 or 6 bottles of wine, 1 bottle of Champagne, 2/3 of a bottle of Pyrat, 1/2 of a bottle of Jameson, quite a bit of Tittos and 2 beers. Was that Mikes Kettle One that didn't get touched our yours? It's over here if it's yours and you want it back, or I can get it to you to get back to him. You know I usually only drink Titto's so it will just sit. I also got a 4 pack of No Fear that didn't get touched since you brought over the Rock Stars. They Kettle One and No Fear's can stay over here for you and Joe if you want. I didn't get to try any of the wine you brought over, too busy drinking rum. BTW, on the OP, if you have to 'stock up' for a small party, you aren't doing it right. I understand if you're having a big party, but not to have a few people over. http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/121/dscf1132tp1.jpg
  19. Why make a car out of wood? http://www.joeharmondesign.com/
  20. Does he have to 'manually' switch the tunes when he wants to run the nitrous or is there some way that automatically switches it when the nitrous is armed?
  21. That's the TQ curve you are looking at. Bryan, is the nitrous tune richer/has less timing, or was the car just warmer by that point? Or, why is there less power/tq before the nitrous kicks in on the nitrous run than the non-nitrous run?
  22. Even better.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abdy6HIxoXU
  23. I draw little pictures sometimes. My favorite is to draw a sail boat on some water.
