Them building better cars has little to nil to do with anything at the plant. I'm sure they are doing enough right (probably a lot) to build a car that last as long as it is designed to last and works as well as it is designed to work. Make the engineers, managers and bean counters drive the cars and you’ll get much better results. They would be doing the company a much better service if they gave the finger to the UAW and told them to take one of their cars and shove it up their asses.

I've never used but heard very good things about zip zoom fly and new egg. From what I've heard and seen you might be able to get stuff a little cheaper if you find the cheapest price on everything on price watch. But you don't get everything from one place and it's random if they are a good vendor or not. I've heard some horror stories. Not worth saving the few extra bucks imho. I'd stay away from Tiger Direct too, horrible customer service. Microcenter is nice because it's an actual store. They usually have some good deals on stuff too.

I'm glad I heard a different story on that. The one I heard before was that he had the gun in the house, started to walk down the stairs with it, the guy had a visible gun, and the guy shoot him. What I just described is perfectly legal, and he shouldn't have gone to jail for it. That guy was trying to flee from the situation and while unfortunately he probably wouldn't have gotten caught, that guy had absoutely no right to take his life. The guy who shoot him and went to jail had no reason to use deadly force. This is a text book perfect example of the laws working in my opinion. I'm sorry, the justice system is fucked up sometimes. But the simple rule is you can't protect property with deadly force, with physical force yes. You need to be protecting your life, or someone else’s life to use deadly force. Seems like a pretty fair assessment. Why did the guy feel the need to go out to his car and get a gun? Sounded like he wanted to shoot the guy, not 'needed' to. Think about what it would really take for any of you to take another persons life (not just you Brian, anyone on here), regardless of who they are. Than mine, yes. Than a new S4. Like someone else said, this car is still semi-factious at this point so that's completely dependent on what this car ends up being like, if they even make it (it's still a concept, not even a production concept). By 09' the S4 will be faster though. After having driven it the other day, I would own buy the S4 hands down over that car regardless of price difference. S6 and S8 are a similar story (the 07 s8 achieves 9.5lb/1hp and 0-62 in 5.1 sec, not too bad for a luxury barge). For the Camaro to hit that same mark it would have to weigh 3800lbs. I don't think that figure will be too far off. The S6 is in that same range. I don't doubt any of these cars could handle about as well as the Camaro. It’s splitting hairs. The RS4 would eat that car alive.

Wow, that sucks. It sounds like they are a chain. That mentality might just be at that one shop. Is there another one local or even a short drive away that you could take it to instead of that one? I would assume the warranty would be good anywhere. Maybe even get in contact with someone at the corporate level. I’m sure they would love to hear this story.
