  1. Its actually against the law in Michigan to drive without clearing the snow off your car. Granted, it would probably have to be excessive for them to actually ticket you. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  2. You guys in Columbus got lucky. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  3. Oh, I forgot. The only thing I hate about my S10 is Bixby. But the latest version let's you reassign the Bixby button to most other apps (not Google Assistant though), so I made it a shortcut to the camera. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  4. I have an S10 and it's been great. Got a good deal at Sam's Club so it didn't cost an arm and a leg either. I've been really happy with the camera. The phone is fast and responsive. Here are a few pics as an example, but I think Tapatalk might down sample them on upload. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

  6. It had a 3.7, 4.7, and 5.7 (HEMI). It sucked, IMO, because they all got horrible mileage, interior was too plasticy, and the 3rd row was useless. It was not to a level of luxury that represents the Grand Wagoneer nameplate. Original conjecture (circa 2010) had it based on the Durango, but that was killed and is why there is a Citadel and Citadel Anodized Platinum trim package. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  7. That's hilarious, considering the old Commander was out of production before the Hellcat was even on paper. Plus, it sucked and was not worthy of the GW name, IMO. It's been talked about for a long time, plans have changed many times, since Sergio was keen on having models pure to their brand and nameplate. Not vaporware, though. You'll find pictures of mules on the internets that claim to be GW mules. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  8. We're just going to Hellcat everything. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  9. And yet, at the same time, has talked about a new Grand Wagoneer for 10 years. I'm not naive to think that any company is completely incompetent, it usually aligns more to a desire to do the product RIGHT, because if you flop at launch in a competitive class (like trucks, SUVs, Wrangler competitors) then you blew your shot for the next 5 years, minimum. Any delay to the Bronco is probably a desire to do the vehicle as good as possible to compete with Jeep, as well as aligning with internal platform timelines. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  10. I doubt dealers keep replacenent pistons in stock. More than likely they come from a regional parts center, which all dealers are going to pull from. It didnt even occur to me that people at those centers are UAW, and if so, even if they're sitting on a shelf you're not getting anything until this is over. The only alternative is finding used parts at a junkyard. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  11. A friend of mine with a GM car has been waiting on a part for 3 weeks already. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  12. Going to depend on the exact part and model year of the vehicle. Service parts are built up and held in stock, but on a newly launched vehicle, or a high demand part there can be low numbers of parts available. For example, my in-laws bought a newly redesigned RAV4 and had a rock chip on the windshield within the first week. No aftermarket available, glass had to come straight from Toyota. If the assembly plant were shut down, glass supplier on hold, delivery could have taken a while. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  13. Just a little creepy... Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  14. 560 SEC 6.0 Widebody! fuck yes. Are they selling it? Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  15. Ha, "two weeks" is an old CR joke for when people would have their car done and ready to race. In some cases it means never lol. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  16. Make sure you share a link to your YouTube channel. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  17. Nice! Congrats on the new Jeep! It's insane out of the hole when you use the launch control. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  18. Not surprising, especially once they launched the 10 speed auto. Everyone cries about wanting a manual, but no one buys them, which makes it hard to make a business case. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  19. There a couple ways OEM's can limit cost on a program in order to control the MSRP. This can be reuse of components, limiting features, and limiting build complexity. With the base price being such a surprise, I expect they killed the manual transmission and predicted that would support enough volume in order to be able to offer the vehicle at a cheaper base price. I'm also assuming that this reduction in build complexity/possible build configurations is also why they were able to offer more exterior colors and more interior customization. With the typical model line up being Stingray-> Z51-> Grand Sport-> Z06-> ZR1, and the fact that each model must be have a faster lap time than the one beneath, I don't think you will ever see a manual C8. 20. Ah, ok. I think it will be harder to crack than the Duramax for the reasons I listed above. Global B is a different animal, and the security provisions in place for FOTA will take some effort. Nothing is un-hackable though. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

  22. CAN-FD is still a 2 wire communication network, like standard CAN. "FD" stands for Flexible Data rate. CAN-FD allows for larger data frames to be sent on a standard CAN infrastructure without stepping up to an ethernet backbone, but requires upgrading the CAN transceivers on every module. The larger data frames also give the option of message authentication across the bus. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
  23. I guarantee they are already scanning vehicles remotely and keeping the records. OnStar has done this as a service for many years. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
