The only ABS plastic that I have seen formed is an ABS backed acrylic at a tub/shower manufacturing plant. They thermo form the sheet and then spray chopped glass/filled resin on the back side of the part for strength. The thermo forming is done by a large machine, heated to ~ 300 then vacuum is pulled on the sheet to form it over the mold.
I have no experience with thermoplastics, but work with thermoset materials.
What are you looking to do?
Very nice. Too bad you are still in Wisconsin. I'd love to get a ride in one.
I'm also with the other guys in saying that you have three of the cars that I would love to have and in those colors too. Let me know when you need a driver for the Z to compare it to the GT500........
So, the usual suspects made it. Not sure if anyone on here made it other than myself, Eddie, Zanesville mustang guys, and the guys who went out with me.
My wife likes the pumpkin beers with her favorite being the Southern Tier. Too much spice for my liking. Fall and winter definitely have more flavor than the rest of the years selections, but I still prefer the hoppy choices.
Anyone else plan on going? I think there will be atleast 4 or 5 of us, my friends and I, going. Air won't be great, but it should still be a good time.
No. They give awards to the 9,10,11,12,13,14....etc "winners". It's an average over three runs and whoever gets the closest to say 12.00 wins the 12 second average portion.
It will be welded, but for me to put it in and then get it welded might work fine as well. Either way I go, it won't be bolt in only as I do value my safety.
