  1. The buyer backed out so I still have the car. I am planning on re-listing probably early next week unless there is some outside interest. I am thinking of adding a buy it now price next time of $7500. Considering the parts, condition, and care of the car this is a bargain price for a street, track, or autocross car. Reserve would still be set at $6000 as a safety net so that I wouldn't get taken to the cleaners. If anyone is interested in the car let me know.
  2. Thanks, but no thanks, I am looking for the cash. Maybe an 03 will be in my future, time will tell...
  3. It is time to move on. The Mustang is for sale on eBay here . Reserve is set at $6000. If anyone has questions feel free to contact me: Bill Kiser wk223000@yahoo.com 614-348-1966
  4. I saw a 73-87 Chevy pickup that was completely covered in them the other day.
  5. If split $325 for the wheels, $100 for the tires.
  6. It depends on your weekend duties I guess . But like I said before the sidewall stiffness limits the straight line traction, but the lateral traction is pretty darn good.
  7. Crap, they showed up this morning, I just linked to my photo gallery at corral so hopefully they work. I went ahead and sent you the pictures of the wheels as well. Did you want pictures of the tires as well?
  8. Pics added: http://www.corral.net/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=38081
  9. It is either 40 or 60. They have a little tread but it is all worn off. Also straight line traction suffers due to alot of sidewall stiffness.
  10. I guess it is just a habit of doing that with my email, funny though. These tires are actually R-compound road race/autocross tires. It sounds as if you are looking for a set of street tires. These wouldn't last too long on the street and they would attract every nail, screw and whatever else you might drive by. Let me know if I am wrong though.
  11. Sounds good. The only problem is that I have the wheels in my office in Hilliard since I don't live here anymore. I may be in town Saturday anyways though, if not I know for a fact that I will be here in Hilliard Sunday.
  12. Cool, give me a call or a number I can reach you at and we will make arrangements.
  13. These tires are a couple years old but still have rubber on them. They aren't too bad when they get a little heat. Four are better than the other 2. The tread blocks are for the most part worn away but on the better four the outline can still be seen. The inner shoulder tread blocks are still present although one of the better tires had a brief run-in with the quad shock bolt on a Mustang. The reason I am selling these is that I have fallen onto some rough times and had to take a hiatus from autocrossing so I figured that I should sell these instead of letting them age. The price for all 6 is $100. Split into pairs it is $50 per pair for the better tires and $30 for the the last pair. Buyer (s) pay all shipping charges. The last time I shipped a pair of tires UPS charged around $50 for the pair so I am open to suggestions. Also 4 of them are currently mounted on a set of 03 Cobra wheels and I would sell the six tires and 4 wheels for $400. Pics available upon request. Feel free to contact me by the email address or phone number listed below: Bill Kiser wk223000 at yahoo dot com 614-348-1966 I am located in central Ohio near Columbus but make regular trips to all areas of the state so meeting somewhere is a possible option. One final bit of business is that the phone number I listed is my mobile which I use for work. Therefore it has a voice mail greeting that may deter people from leaving a message about this matter. But by all means, if you call my phone please leave a message. As much as I am in and out of phone service and away from my computer, leaving a message on my phone if I am unable to answer is the best way to get ahold of me.
  14. Still have them. Pics available. $150.
  15. Cool, just let me know. Give me a call if you want at the number listed above.
  16. I will get them to you as soon as I can. It could be a day or so, depending on what my work schedule turns into. Thanks.
  17. Do the pen and pad thing, you will not believe the results. The direct deposit idea also works well, especially if you have some money deducted out of each pay check to go into a savings account that is not connected to a debit card. Also many mutual fund companies like T. Rowe Price will wave the minimum investment if you sign up for a plan that automatically invests $50 per month. If you save enough to make a 20% down payment on a house you will be far ahead of many people.
  18. This eleanor shit has gone on long enough.
  19. That blue color is probably heat treating colors. When I changed the boot for my truck I cut the boot with the clamp and had to re-do the job. Also maybe there was too much air in the boot, dirt in the folds, or like others have said too much stress on the boot from because of another problem.
