  1. Cool, I will be around, get ahold of me if you are still interested.
  2. If they audited. Most I have talked to said they don't pay it.
  3. Is it just me or is the "use tax" line new this year on the tax return? Basically you have to report how much out of state merchandise you bought online or through the mail and did not pay sales tax on, and then you owe that much in sales tax to the state. I don't recall that from last year and it sounds like a bunch of bull shit to me. I would imagine I bought a couple thousand dollars worth of stuff out of state so now I owe 6.75% on that. This especially burns me in the wake of the Taft and Workers' comp. scandals.
  4. Just wanted to add that the good traction-loc has somewhere around 15k miles on it.
  5. Just wanted to add that the two diffs are 28 spline.
  6. Ok this is a lot of 8.8 traction loc parts. All parts are used. Included are a low milage good traction loc, a traction loc that can be used for parts, 2 sets of 3.27 gears, some pinion shims, more than 1 set of ring gear bolts, and some bearings. At minimum the extra clutch packs can be taken from the extra traction loc and used for alternate clutch pack orders and such. $40 firm Bill Kiser 614-348-1966 wk223000@yahoo.com
  7. I have a stock catback from a 97 Cobra, not sure if it will fit though. $25. Bill Kiser wk223000 at yahoo dot com 614-921-0966
  8. I got stuck with this flaming piece: http://images.quizfarm.com/1113286503zxBW-1.jpg I saw it had an 87 IROC near the bottom which I assume they are trying to say it is a redneck car but I encourage anyone to look at the SCCA Solo II national champion results to see just how many 3rd gen Camaros have won national championships. I think a Vette is more appropriate for me than that white thing.
  9. Holy ugly stick. I think I will just take a 3rd gen IROC. I like the GTO better, but all these cars are coming out a bit on the big side. If I were in the market, I would save my money for a C6.
  10. I am suprised he was even in Columbus. But if this in fact is true file his name under the dumbass list.
  11. If you are going to autocross one get some Konis and a second set of wheels and go for a stock class with some R compounds or STS with a tire like the Falkon Azenis. It would be a solid ride.
  12. Swapping another engine into it would not be a good idea because you would be put into a modified class which would suck. Miata's make good STS cars.
  13. Are those Bullitt brakes? If so, awesome. BTW I think the ride height looks good.
  14. Vanilla Ice drove a fox body convertible in his "Ice ice baby" video. If you want a mustang you could get a whole lot more function of a car for less than that one is. That one looks way over done and how do you know that it hasn't been ragged out or the person who did the work did a shitty job? Seriously you could by any year of Cobra besides 03-04 for that price if you looked around enough. Ok I'll say it, I think that car is fugly. You could find vettes or f-bodies for that cheap too, and they would crush that car. To be real honest with you most people can't sell a modded car for much more than the same car all stock.
  15. Looks great, though I still think the 99+ GT wheels looked good on the car. Now how hard was it to get back up the driveway and into the garage?
  16. Dad doesn't need them but said it was a good deal.
  17. If you or someone you know could do it, you could make a set of 4:1 jigs that use bathroom scales. Here is some relative info on what I am talking about. See the pic links: http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?t=735887 Also the Columbus Library has the Mustang Performance Handbook 2 by William Mathis which has plans for such jigs and great info on corner weighing. Although the book is Mustang specific, it has some great info in this department that would work for you.
  18. Maybe, let me check with dad before you go eBay.
  19. I have heard of people who don't want to do the work but want to swap gears buying new pumpkins but that is about it. Corral may be worth a look too, there may have been one for sale a while back IIRC.
  20. I am still trying to figure out what in sam hell is going on with the front fascia and why there are LS1Tech.com watermarks on the pics. The thing reminds me of those chicks that would be totally hot if they were skinny.
  21. Mach 1's were autocross national champions in 2004 in F Stock and in 2004 and 2005 in F Stock Ladies.
  22. They are rated at 305/320 from the flywheel. If someone is putting down more than the flywheel rating to the rear wheels with an h-pipe and a filter then that is a serious gain. Assuming 15% driveline loss you are looking at 358/376! If you really want to get serious you could do the aviator intake which is the poor man's FR500. It has long runners for the low range and then short runners for the upper RPMs. There is plenty to do: headers and full exhaust, air intake, intake manifold work, 99/01 cams, tune, aluminum flywheel/driveshaft, gears, and suspension. I just read over at Corral that there are filter/mid-pipe cars running mid 12s.
  23. Agreed. I have also heard that the Mach engine has flat-tops as opposed to the -3 cc dish of the earlier 4V's, do you know anything about this? Were you able to compare the horsepower numbers themselves between the two cams all other things being the same? Or are you going by the shape of the curves?
