I could help you out... very unprofessionally on the back patio of my apartment. However, I don't know how good of an idea it's going to be to rethread the drain hole without completely flushing out the motor afterwards.

I was actually stopped at a light, held my arm out to signal and pulled away in 2nd gear so I wouldn't be too loud. The cop was unaware of my existence until he was directly STOPPED behind me at the light. The car will start right up with a charged battery. However, due to the bad alternator, you can't drive it more then 15min at a time. Once the juice is out, the car will die as soon as you stop. No. A couple cops decided that the fact that I didn't have taillights was enough of a reason to interupt them eating their Taco Bell and impound my bike. I was given the pat down, had to sit in the back of the cruiser for 20min until I had another ride and when my ride showed up IN A PICKUP TRUCK... I was told the bike is being impounded.

I really need to get rid of this car. I just had my bike impounded and need the money to get it out. I bought it at the last Shamrock Auto Auction to try and fix and resell, but I have WAY TOO MUCH on my plate right now to play around with this thing. I does need a lot of work to be road worthy, alternator, leaks oil, tires, power steering work, etc. but it does have potential and if anything it has a lot of stuff on it worth parting out. The interior is in great shape (black leather, no tears, rips, cracks, etc.) and if I can't find somebody to buy this thing I will probably pull the interior for one of my other projects and take the rest of the car to the junk yard. Please don't offer me any less then $350. I'm already taking it in the ass on this car and that's the lowest I can go. I got the bike running amazingly well (after about 30+ hours of work on my back patio). Rewired the whole bike, removed and cleaned the heads, replaced the entire electrical and charging system and gave it a nice fresh tune up. Well... after all the hours I had in it, and quite a few failed test runs, I finally got the formula correct. Everything was done with exception of wiring up the taillights... need I explain the rest of the story?

Bike was officially named "El Diablo... The Fighting Chicken" It was then quickly impounded by the Columbus Police Dept. ASSHOLES.

I picked up a 1978 CX500 from some tattoo artist downtown. I'm not too familiar with the Japanese bikes, so I'm probably gonna be on here asking a bunch of questions. I rode the bike home, but it needs a good bit of electrical work as whoever did the custom worked hillbilly rigged the hell out of it. No the car has not been wrecked. It does not look discolored in person. It's probably because the outside of the wheel is handled constently and the inside part is not.

As the title says, I'm looking for a turbo 2.3L motor out of an SVO, Turbo Coupe or Merkur. Would really like to find one that was in good mechanical condition, but if you've got something with some problems i'm still willing to kick it around. Also interested in the trans and wiring.
