I agree, there are a lot of buyers that attend this. I bought my 74 vette at this event and my buddy sells his cars at this event.
  2. Nope, we got the $1k knocked off the purchase price.
  3. Looks like a good project, I have no time. TTT
  4. Can you pm his info? Thanks, Rick
  5. Yes, I leave the front loader on my tractor for mowing. I have a Yanmar 1610d with a Buschhog loader and a 60 inch Sitrex mower. I purchased this tractor from a container load(total of 8 tractors) 15 years ago and it still runs great. Today, there are many options for a compact diesel tractor. Back when I was looking a compact tractor there wasn't too many options, so I imported due to cost. Today, Kuboka and others have came down in price, however, my set up was about half the cost of the similar John Deere and Kuboka options.
  6. Yes, purchase a compact diesel tractor with a front end loader and use this to mow/etc. Once you build the house and get your landscaping done, that will be the time for a zero turn. I have both, started with the tractor and later on got my Dixie Chopper. I mow a littler over 3acres and with the zero turn, it is done around a hour.
  7. Looks nice and I like.

  10. Yep, after all the talk, unlike Clay, we purchased the Passat. So, far after 100 miles I and the wife like. This is her new daily driver. Her previous car was a 97 850 Volvo which we purchased new. It now has 203k on it and is my dd, until my 15 year starts driving. Planned updates: Splash guards on all four corners Clear front end protector film (IPS or Pickup Plus ?)
  11. Either Dozzer's Garage or Columbus Diesel Supply.
  12. Incredible, keep posting more vids.
  13. We have umbrellas near the two corners by the chairs on those really hot summer days.

  16. We have a 20x40 inground pool(27,000 gallons) with a diving board. We had the pool install about 8 years ago and love it. Our pool is made with fiberglass walls and a concrete type of bottom. There are many options on inground pools, I didn't want one with steel walls. Yes, it is not cheap, but we consider the pool to be a part of our yearly vacation. We have 1-1/2 pump that runs 24x7 for the entire pool season. This costs cost us about $50 a month on our monthly budget. Please note we don't have a heater, that can add a lot of additional monthly cost depending on whether electric, gas, or propane. I open my pool each year, and I spend about $300 to purchase the supplies, chlorine/mineral supplimemts. To close, I pay Clearwater pools in Westerville to close. Closing involves blowing out the water in the lines and adding antifreeze. Our pool is a mineral system and uses very little chlorine. The water feels like bath water and doesn't have the chemically smell or feel. Many people have a salt water system, and no way would I. Salt water causes rust and other pool issues and the water feels strange. In regards to homeowner insurance, the pool didn't add any cost to ours, since we are classified as a farm due to livestock. Pool maintenance is not too bad during the season. To open, I may spend up to 6 hours vacuuming and after the initial pool opening we have a robo cleaner and does a pretty good job during the season. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v167/RAS69/eb6fcfb5e4f853f5823b147337a27a02.jpg If you have questions let me know.
  17. Went last week, but can't today, too much to do before I head out next week on the next business trip.
  18. When I built my house we got a construction loan through the Delaware County Bank. They seem to be the best option. Yes, I believe they do these loans to folks outside Delaware county too.
  19. Put a plow and spreader on that bauce! LoL
  20. I plow for my own properties and do a few residentials. I have a full time job so i dont want to get into commercial gigs or sub. I do help others at times. Best advice is to sub from someone to get into the business. Most of the plow guys on here own their own companies and this is their off season so they plow.
