  1. That color was around in 92. They had one next to the Mustang that I bought.

    Bike at the shop

I have a 6 year boy and a 5 year old girl( 15 months apart). I have been busy with the kids. It was tough in the beginning with both kids, between balancing raising a family, work and running a family business, I couldn't find the time for several of my hobbies, so I stored the bike with several of my other cars. Last year, I was about ready to get back into the bike thing, but my wife's cousin killed himself last year in Gahanna on his CBR trying to outrun the Gahanna police. That brings me up to this year, with gasoline being expensive as it has been, I decided to do my part by conserving fuel(as least offset what I burn in the vette). I am planning to hit the bike nights, etc. My brother and several friends have multiple bikes, my brother has some rare Ducati 998 Mono and one of my good friends has over 100 motorcycles (most are in excellent condition and the others are restored) so I will be out on the old Intercepter. 3. I have a set of 4 10 holes that are in excellent shape(from a 85/86 GT). I have tires on them (Dunlop's) that are old. Make me a offer or some type of trade. I paid $250 for the rims 12 years ago.

    Bike at the shop

My bike is ready. I will pick it either Friday or Saturday. I will find some time this weekend to clean/wax it up and hopefully on Monday hit the BMV to get a plate and I will be riding again.. I like my cars, but the bike is a whole different thing.
  5. I own one of the clean 92 with 60k on the clock. I bought it new.... and it will take a lot more than 3k to get it because it is not for sale.
  6. Shawn, you are back there? That is good news. I am glad they are rehiring. Are you the same area as before?
  7. My wife drives an 97 Volvo 850. We bought it new and she loves it. Happy wife, makes a happy husband.
  8. Excellent, now I know and seen a real 10 sec street car. Good work..
  9. That is around the market value on the 86($7000). If it is a late 86 with the aluminum heads it might go for a little more. He will sit on the car for a while if he thinks he will be able to sell it for $10000.
  10. Mobile Cycle Works... If you cant get the bike to them, they can work on the bike at your place.

    350 Olds Motor

What year, what condition, where at?
  13. I took my bike to my friend's shop and I should be getting it back around 2-3 weeks. I havent rode my bike in 6 years and the carbs are gum'd up. I have too many things going on, so i farmed the V-4 work out. I am getting the carbs clean'ed/rebuilt and a new rear tire and all fluids changed. I cant wait until June....
  14. Nice vette, If no one is biting, I would take it to Springfield Cars and Parts the last weekend of May.

    Cool you are expanding....
  16. One of my co-worker just went back.
  17. My fuel economy car is back in service ,starting tomorrow. I just put insurance back on the Mustang. Concerning the Intercepter, I had to get a new battery and I will be able to pick it up on Saturday....
  18. Welcome, nice ride. My wife has a 97 854, no turbo though.
  19. Congratulations on your second.
  20. I saw from the newspaper last week that Metal Masters in town has POR-15.
  21. Welcome, someone older than me. I am 35.
  22. I agree with Buckeye. However, it is great your bud has a chance to do something he likes to do.
  23. You either need to sell the car or do some of the work yourself. I bet that Byer's or MAG loves it when you come in.
  24. I would try Vette Brake Products to see if they are anything better, or hit one of the CorvetteForum sponsors. FYI, Mid America Corvette is having their spring swap meet I believe on April 2. There is a Corvette swap meet up in Lima this weekend; there might be some vendors with some new tie rods there. Unfortunately, I can’t go to either this year.
  25. My brother has a 87 911 Carrera, he re-built the top of the engine last year and had a guy in Powell hone the cylinders. This guy in Powell works out of his house on Porsche's. He does machining and supplies parts. He used to work for one of the big Porshe shops in town and since work from his house. He is quite busy. I will give my brother a call tomorrow and get his number. If you are looking to sell, please PM give me with details.
