I'll throw Forno on the list. New place in German Village...all wood-fired food. Great drinks, great food, AWESOME atmosphere. Very new-age dining. I would recommend when making your reservation here that you specifically request dining in the dining area and not the bar so you have a little more room between tables and a little more privacy. -Marc

The Refectory does have the best wine list in town...but I think getting into it would put you over your budget. JAlexanders at Crosswoods has arguably the best bang-for-buck punch out of everything listed. You will have great service, amazing food for the price, and your wallet won't bleed when the bill comes. -Marc

This is incorrect. Better steaks can be had at JGilberts, The Top, Hyde Park, 1808, Eddie Merlots, SW's...the list goes on and on. Basically, Mitchells is not very good. Especially for the price. -Marc

I'm surprised to hear this. I have only eaten at Rodizio once, but was blown away. The food was incredible as was the service. I have never eaten at Texas De Brazil. -Marc

Pretty much sums up the respect portion. I'm totally cool with your rule. I don't think I would ban them from staying as that seems like driving a wedge in your relationship but at least not allowing them to sleep in the same room and bed gets your point across. As it has been stated, they are 18. They will find a way to fuck in your home. But, at least you got your point across. I would never be ok with my teenager having their significant other over for the week/weekend/night and staying in the same room. And I'm only 29 with no kids. As Alex said, if they are so adamant about sharing a room then they should get a hotel room and show respect to you, your home and your rules. This shouldn't be that big of an issue. -Marc
