Spitting in Alan Faneca's face by not offering the money he deserves is going to make him play like shit, not risk getting hurt ect so that he is more valuable next year to another team. They are notorious for tightening up the purse strings with regards to verterans and once again they are going to lose a star because of it. Yes, the browns looked awful against the steelers and much better vs cinci but I would blame that on both defenses being weak. You have to admit that if Cinci's defense plays like that vs Pittsburgh that they will get waxed...end of story. Baltimore doesnt scare me with Boller or Smith taking the snaps so as long as McNair stays out they will be fighting for third behind Cinci. Yeah, next week should be a joke game although the niners have been looking decent this year. The problem isnt the beginning of the season, it's the end for Pittsburgh. Check out their schedule after the Niners and Cardinals: Seahawks, @ Denver, @ Cinci, Ravens, Browns, @ Jets, Dolphins, Bengals, @ Patriots, Jaguars, @Rams and finish the season at the Ravens. That's a little harsh there in the middle... All I know is that I couldnt count on them for a trip to the big game this year but the playoff's look hopeful and that makes me happy. -Marc

So out of curiousity...you missed EVERY other point made in my thread? Way to try and avoid all of it but I think you should go back and re-read it. There is no way the Bungles would have beaten Indy in the playoff's. Their defense was not up to par to stop Manning and they would have been DESTROYED just like they were earlier in the season. As stated, Pittsburgh kicked the shit out of Indy for 45 minutes of football. Go back and check the stats if you would like...The fourth quarter was a bit messed up but they won that game outright. Then went on and rolled over Denver and did the same against Seattle in the Superbowl. I said it once and will say it again...the Superbowl that year was played in Indy against the Steelers. Whoever won that game was going to beat Seattle...end of story.
