  1. I am not contradicting myself. I simply stated that to those who may have negative comments to say, I do not care what he/she thinks. Apparently I did not make that point clear previously. Hopefully it is cleared up now.
  2. It was long due to giving my side of the story. Within a story of the events in question, there are always two sides, and I was giving mine.
  3. I just became aware of this thread at this time and therefore am replying to it now. I completely agree with MegamanEXE. This whole issue is up to interpretation. I did not believe that the rule was clearly written, nor that I was in violation of it. Again, that is up to the mods and admins, not me, however, I still do not feel that I was technically in violation of the rules. That being said, I owe an apology to the mods. I was out of line and I should not have been as out of line as I was. That being said, the reason that I was angry was due to the fact that the seller's negative post, directed towards me, was not deleted, yet, my post in which I was defending myself towards those negative comments was deleted. When you are critized and degraded by someone, do you keep your mouth shut and not stand up for yourself, or do you stand up for yourself and defend your point? I chose to defend my point and looking back upon it, I would still make the same decision. Could I have handled my anger better towards the mods? Yes, I should have. I clearly should not have become as angry as I did, but, when one of you feels as if you are being treated poorly, what do you do? Generally, you probably defend yourself, as I did here. Each person in entitled to there opinion and can say whatever they want whenever they want and have whatever opinions they choose. To those who have negative comments directed towards me, I don't care who you are, what you say, or what you think. If you want to continue to vent or bash me or say negative comments, then that is your choice. I will pay them no attention nor do I care whatever it is you have to say. If you want to continue to waste your time, then thats your choice. As far as my vehicle asking price, people are entitled to there opinions. Think whatever it is you want, I don't really care.

  5. Good luck man. Takes a lot of courage to admit your problem on a forum such as CR. I understand where you are coming from. I to, have had my own battles of a similar nature. Thankfully I have overcome those battles...and you will as well as long as you want it and are willing to put forth the effort to get better and make that change. Remember, do it for yourself...not for anyone else. Others (loved ones such as a gf or family come to mind) may persude you to go to rehab, etc, but then you have to ask yourself, are you doing it for you or are you doing it for them??? You'll have much more success in the process if you make the decision to do it for yourself. Good luck
  6. Again, the car only has 46,000 original miles on it, regardless of the cosmetic condition of it. It doesn't warrent a price tag lower than $2,000. I have found similar cars with much higher mileage for $2500-$3000 and the cosmetic condition of those cars was not much better than mine. $2,000 is a fair price when you consider the cosmetic condition. Keep in mind, with just a little bit of $, this car has the ability to run for several more years. As far as putting it on autotrader, yeah, I'm open to that idea.
  7. Not giving up....selling it one way or another. It may be cosmetically "beat" up to a degree...however it has only 46,000 original miles on it....therefore, it is priced at $2,000.
  8. I'm familiar with the website. Any idea how much it would cost?
  9. If you have $170.00, Target has them. On occasion they put that kind of stuff on sale...just would have to check there weekly ad and see.
  10. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51568 As posted here on CR. Changed the price a few times prior to my fixing the brakes and a few other things. Obviously, as I've maintained the car and replaced the brakes, etc...the price has gone up. Just sucks that this is not a good economy to be selling anything.
  11. Point noted. Put $$ into car to keep it in decent shape. Not taking any less than $2,000 for it. Rather keep it than sell it for less than what I've put into it. May do the ebay thing, thanks.
  12. Already done that. No luck yet. Looking for other websites that I can post a free ad on.
  13. I'm trying to sell one of my vehicles and I'm not having a lot of luck. I have it on this forum and craigslist, and I'm wondering if there are any other FREE auto sales websites that I can post my ad on.......or anything similar to craigslist that won't cost me $$$ to create an ad......any ideas???
  14. I recommend the Nikon. Target right now could have a better price deal than Best Buy. I believe there Nikon is $379.99. If you were to open a target credit account or debit account (credit account there can help boost credit rating if necessary) that would take 10% off the price, making it a $342.00 (+ tax) brand new camera.
  15. Just looking for some ideas/opinions from those of you on this board about where is the best place that people have found or would find a daily driver that is good on gas. Personal preferences are 2 or 4 door Honda Accord or Civic, Toyota Camry, Corolla, or Celica, Hyundai Sonota, or Pontiac Grand Prix, Grand Am. I need to sell my Taurus prior to purchasing something else. Already have a Civic, not really my first choice in getting another one, but will if that's all that is out there. I am looking for something for $3,000 or under and preferably has under 100,000 miles and does not need much work. Any suggestions/ideas?
  16. Beautiful car. My uncle had a white one that was identical to yours in terms of the features and options. It was an amazing car to drive. Good Luck with the sale
  17. Can't speak for all women, but my g/f has done the same thing. Our's has also been an up and down relationship, so I can relate. My theory is, yes, most all women do that. Why your not in a rush to get married, don't know that answer. All I can say is I feel the same way man. I'm not in a rush and will not be fucking forced to feel like I have to rush into something when, as you said, maybe in the back of my head I feel like I can do better. It gets old having to deal with those same questions that mine poses to me over and over and OVER again. There are times I get tired of dealing with answering the fucking questions and walk away from her and tell her to come talk to me when she's dropped the damn subject. My other thought would be that, like in my case, my g/f is a few years older than I am, so I would say that she is certainly feeling the "rush" of settling down and having a family and getting married and all that stuff, but I'm not at that point yet. Sounds like your g/f is in a rush to do all of those things.
  18. The future Mrs. Chris Cooley of the Washington Redskins = hotness. What do you think, Hot or not? http://celebrity.rightpundits.com/?pp_album=main&pp_cat=&pp_image=christy_oglevee5.jpg
  19. That is, of course, if you have a sim card in your phone. If you do not, then you may be stuck.
  20. Interesting, I have sprint and I have 0 complaints with them. Actually, I like my phone. I especially enjoy the fact that it was free. If you want, you can change out the sim card and put it into a cheap phone. You could probably go to Target, Wal Mart, etc and buy a $9.99 phone and exchange the sim card. I've seen a phones at Target and Wal Mart that would work for that, provided you don't care about what the phone looks like (pretty shitty looking if you ask me). If you want something that looks good and has more than just the standard features that a phone comes with (ie, texting and bluetooth capabilities), then you'll be spending a bit more $.
  21. Thanks Jon, I'll keep that in mind. If I fix them rather than junk it, I'll probably just replace the lines all together. Thanks man, I'll let ya know. If I fix the brakes and a few other things, rather than junk it, then I'll be looking at selling it. It'll be at least $1,000 firm.
  22. Not sure if that's the route I'm going to go yet, but I'd be curious what it's worth as a junker.
