Everyone, Well, I had the lifetime trip to head down to Atlanta Georga, this past weekend to go to the Castings Expo 08 at the Georga world congress center, and spend the weekend down there, and let me tell you everywhere you looked around there were broken windows and debris everywhere, and it took us a bit to realize that, the tornado hit there in March. And after looking at some of the videos on Youtube, it was something else! I had not realize how bad that storm actully was, and I feel sorry for everyone down there rebuilding all the mess that was caused from this storm, but damn... We, went to the expo all day saturday and had the chance to go to the Georga dome inside and had a little Punt, pass and kick competition, with some of our co-workers and had a BLAST!!! Then headed over to see the Braves play the "A"s in loose. We all had great seats behind home plate. Just wanted to share some details from our weekend.. Thanks, Dan

Is all the extra cost because the 302 block can't hold up to nitrous? Like 2 + stages? I have a friend that has a 9 sec all motor stang, he has a lot in that baby just in engine alone, it is one of those valve spring muncher, camshafts 800+ lift, and fox lake heads...I just think the 350 4bolt chevy would be the way to go forged internals etc. I could just go ahead and finish up my 74 olds omega, but I dont think my 10 bolt rear end would hold up for much more than I got now... I just need to get it complete and make it faster. Right now it has a strait up ZZ4 crate engine in it with milder camshaft and light portwork to get me into the high 11's I need to go one step further and get a set of forged pistons and more cam + nitrous, also a decent rear end to handle the 60 foots, right now I am at 1.59 Anyway just thought those cars sounded sweet as hell! Different type of press my friend, this use's a vaccume at 1st then fill with argon gas, and heat up to ^^^^ deg c. And hold for 1 hr 150,000 psi to basicly forge, powdered materials... High tech. stuff!!! Dan

Well, if I remember correctly the Nitrous system is a progressive system that comes in at certain rpms, and when Tony had his shop we put it on the dyno and made some decent power with it, I want to say 565 rwhp? Cant remember though... Dan

Yep....Its all done, still working out some electrical stuff, the auto headlight adjusters are not working, and I still can't get the cooling fans to kick on, I have been running it like this till now that it is getting warmer out in traffic it will overheat. I have them on a manual switch right now working on another fan computer to comunicate with the ecu...other than that, I love it!!! Dan
