Check out the Vonn Jazz club. http://www.vonnjazz.com/ . They offer local live jazz most nights. There is a lot of good talent around here. Very cool place.

Didn't want Z06, like the targa top. Plus it's a daily driver, the Z06 deserves better. I looked at a few C6's, good ones started at $30K The CTS is the wife's ride, I couldn't talk her into the V with the manual transmission.

It is a manual. I would never purchase an automatic Corvette, but that's just me. GM lists the color as "Magnetic Red" with a black leather interior. I paid just over $24K.

Dunno yet. Researching options now, still not comfortable enough to explore the limits yet, especially not on damp roads. Never owned a stock car for very long, though. At the very least it needs a shifter and a tune.

The Caddy just wasn't doing it, so I purchased this little toy last week: http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa252/Apexbutcher/2010-04-24131211.jpg It's an '04 with 30K on the clock, runs straight and true. Came up from Virginia, about an hour south of DC. Mods to follow as time and budget allow.

I love the big red emergency shutoff button on the dash in case the Volt goes all Toyota on them.

If you're driving a Prius going 90 mph with a stuck throttle you should just help evolution along and aim for a big tree.

Seen one on Rome-Hilliard road several times, down by Westpoint Plaza. Made my '04 F150 look kinda sad.

Blizzaks + 6 tubes playground sand + locking diff = goes anywhere

An electric shock is not the same as an EMF pulse. Uncle Sam spent lots of money teaching me how to counteract EMF. A simple faraday cage surrounding the electronics in question would probably be sufficient. I doubt if this thing is as sophisticated as the stuff the military uses.

+1 Benadryl helps you get to sleep, but in general it's not a good nights sleep and it only lasts about 4 hours.
-
Diphenhydramine HCI = Benadryl for any non-medical types out there. It's also in Tylenol PM and such. Antihistimine with drowsiness as side effect. Safe for dogs, but as posted above, does not make them sleepy. 50mg Benedryl tablets might be cheaper than your co-pay, tho.

Mechanic at a local shop in Akron - Sgt. Hack's Import Repair on Exchange St. Really cool owner, set my own hours as long as my jobs got done.

Michelob Winter's Bourbon Cask Ale...FTMFW!!!
RadDawg replied to Stallion Motorsports1647545491's topic in Dumpster
WG Bistro has the Jefferson Reserve Bourbon Barrel Ale on tap. Never tried the bottled variety. -
Last weekend I had to make a run to Marietta. Took 70 to 77 for the trip down, bored to death. For the return trip I told the satnav to get me home with no freeways. It found OH-550 from Marietta to Nelsonville. Great road. Lots of sweepers and elevation changes, no traffic, only one Sheriff, sleeping in a parking lot in a small town (Barstow?) File it away for next spring. The CTS loved it, it would rock on a bike or a more sporting car.

+1K "Diabetes is a bitch". I've spent many hours trying to reopen closed arteries in the legs just to try and keep someone from losing thier foot, even though you know it might only buy a few months to a year. Of all the diseases, diabetes is in my top 3 of those I don't want. Hope she does well.

Spaghetti Warehouse has serious problems with the health department, just check the Columbus Health Department's website. Buca got bought out last winter by a new company, but they didn't sell the recipes to the new owners. If you haven't eaten there recently, you might want to hold off on your review. They have really gone cheap on thier product, and it shows. +1 on BJ's (the restaurant, you pervs) My wife's in the restaurant biz, I get a lot of the inside scoop. Oh, yeah. WG Bistro in Hilliard for Friday Night Lasagna. Amazing. Better than Mom's!

The chef from Starliner left a few months ago and started his own place down the street. Louie's Fusion Grille on Cemetary across from the car wash. Awesome breakfasts.

before you pull the head check the cam position sensor. infamous for leaking o-ring and can look like head gasket.

The CTS is at Germain getting new rings and seals at just over 50K miles. Seems it's a common problem with the 3.6l engine. Sucks having to drive the 98 Neon 'til I get it back, but at least it's covered by my extended warranty. Only $50.00 out of pocket, Germain gave an estimate of $4000.00 to MaxCare. They said the engine has to be dropped out from below to do the work, anyone know it that's true? Sounds like major PITA!

98 Neon missing and sounds like its backfiring through the TB

Jumped timing belt? One tooth off, maybe? Timing is contolled by sensor on cam, so pop cover and line up timing marks. -
There is a lot more to it if you've got AT&T U-Verse. Have to have phone line and swap cable connection at the splitter where the cable enters the house. PITA, but doable.
