  1. Started spanish in 5th grade, took it through senior year. Got off plane in Mexico City freshman year in college and couldn't understand a damn thing. After 8 weeks in Mexico, I found myself thinking in spanish. Spent a whole year, still don't consider myself "fluent". Air Force Defense Language Institute (DLI) added to to the russian I learned from my grandparents growing up. IMO, the best way to learn spanish is six months on a beach in Veracruz. Great beaches, Fantastic food, no gringo turistas.
  2. Two . . . 66 Impala SS my Dad gave me as a first car and the 70 GTO convertible i sold when I got married cuz it scared my wife. Shoulda' kept the car and lost the girl ...
  3. BS Business Admin and Military Science (USAF ROTC) from Kent State Associate's Radiologic Technology fromNorth Central State BS in Radiology from OSU College of Medicine SAMP
  4. OEM Mazda rotors have a 10mm threaded hole in them - stick a bolt in and tighten and the rotor pops off. Why don't more OEMs do that?
  5. I've got the enV2, Radio Shack has a USB cable for it. When you plug in to the computer, go to tools menu, select USB Mass Storage and your PC will see the phone as a hard drive. I use Audacity to make my own, free download at download.com. Once you have the ringtone, transfer it to "my sounds" on the phone, send yourself a pic message with the ringtone attached. When you get your message, hit options, save as ringtone. It will save in the ringtone directory and you're done.
  6. The training schedule for crew hired prior to opening is full time day shift for a week, if you have a real job you might want to wait until after they're open for a few weeks and then apply. The address is 61 sumpthin sumpthin - it's right in front of Dick's Sporting Goods south of 161. Wife's name is Andrea, she's off Wednesday, but she'll be back at it Thursday. Don't know if dropping my name will help or hurt your chances. I'll let you guys know if she winds up needing and "quality assurance testers".
  7. The new Sawmill Road Red Lobster in holding open interviews starting February 20 at 9 am. They need over 100 new employees, everything from servers to hosts and bartenders and kitchen staff. Some tipped, some not, all eligible for full benefits including Health, Life, and Disability insurance. Interviews are seven days a week from 9 am until 7 pm starting 2/20 and ending 3/6. Paid training starts 3/9, the store opens on 3/16. It might not be a career, but it's a job with insurance, and it does offer a flexible schedule once you're through training. My wife's the GM, tell her Greg sent you.
  8. Double-check, on my Mustang it looked like the gasket, but the filler tube itself had pinholes from rust. Real PITA to replace w/o dropping the tank.
  9. Moretti's, either Sawmill or Arlington. Family-owned italian, great food, good prices.
  10. I traded my 01 Mustang GT for an 05 with the 3.6. Drives great, handles awesome with the FE3 suspension package, and almost as quick as the Mustang until you get above 80-90 mph. I get around 24 mpg in town, but I drive it hard and leave it in sport mode. Paid just over 20K six months ago, had 36K miles.
  11. OSU has a BS program, CSCC has an Associate's program, COTC has one out in 'Nerk. Lots of others if you can travel. I used to be on the advisory committee at CSCC. I've been in the field for almost 19 years, if you have any questions. I currently work in the Cardiac Cath lab at Mt. Carmel West. BTW, the preferred term is Radiographer, Rad Tech lost favor out a few years ago.
  12. Maximum Motorsports panhard bar, locates the rear end much better than just the UCA's.
  13. Firehouse Coffee on Rome-Hilliard north of Roberts, rather see the $ go to a local shop instead of a chain. Boycott Starbucks!
  14. I got two more just collecting dust.
  15. Thanks, I had almost forgotten about IPS, I haven't bought from them since I sold my Mazda.
  16. Anyone know of a local connection for Tokico HP's? I'ze gots cash money and prefers to shop local. Thanks.
  17. I had to take he wife's F-150 in to Graham for a bad brake light switch, with the extended warrantee I get a free rental, so they hook me up with a Focus. Since I had the day off and rental coverage, I spent the day seeing just how high you can rev a slushbox Focus by shifting manually. Those little 4-bangers will rev right out. I was impressed by how smooth the revs stayed right up until the fuel cutout kicked in. The p.o.s. tires just couldn't keep up, tho. Overall a pretty good stress reliever.
  18. You still got the convertible boot cover?
  19. 2004 F-150 Supercab - she loves her truck!
  20. Sorry so long to get back, the disks I thought I had are gone. Only thing I've got are an old set of IBM recovery disks, but they'll wipe your HD if you use them to install Windows. I do have a copy of IBM's OS2 Warp, tho.
  21. Mine's through Erie Insurance, $80.00 a year, but it varies depending on where you live. I'm in a half double made out of brick, according to my agent thats saves me some $$$ over being in a regular apartment complex.
  22. I think I've got a full set in my office, I'll check first thing Monday morning. One of the benefits about medical equipment being about four operating systems behind the rest of the world.
  23. Berger Hospital in Circleville has a summer intern program, they're taking apps now. They could hook you up the the business or financial office, maybe you'd even learn something. Call thier HR department Monday, I think you need to talk to Sarah, at least she could point you in the right direction.
  24. I've had good luck getting them out of my Mach460 with the right kind of tweezers (the kind that look like they're made from 2 pieces of flat metal spot welded on one end), just gotta be careful not to scratch the disc. On mine they always seem to hang up just inside the door where I can reach them pretty easy. After it's out I usually have to pull the fuse to reset the firmware in the player before it will recognize a new disc is in the slot. It's worth taking a look before tearing everything out.
  25. Job - Radiation Safety Officer for hospital imaging department. Grew up in Cleveland, lifetime Browns fan, hence the "Dawg". No big points for originality, but I usually get my first choice on a user name.
