  1. JP-im not sure what year they went to a V6, however it should be the same motor from 96-02. In my nonprofessional opinion it needs a headgasket set at the minimum. It could be more, but I have no way to tell and I'm not paying to have it torn down to verify. If I was keeping it I would put a engine in it. Tom
  2. I'm not fixing it at this time. The truck never overheated, however if I was keeping it I would swap the motor. Used/rebuild motors can be had for $500-$3000 depending on mileage and year. The best deal i saw was $1250 for a 90k motor. Tom
  3. *Needs Headgasket Replacement* I am currently selling my very clean 97 4Runner Limited 4x4 V6 (no E-locker). Loaded with power everything, all windows work including the rear glass and sunroof. I am the second owner, and it has always been well maintained. Black/Graphite exterior with tan leather interior (ripped front seats). 204k miles, no visible rust (rear wheel well has a spot of surface rust but not visible with door shut). Within the past year i have done the starter, valve cover gaskets, radiator, plugs/wires, and 4 new Yokohama ATS tires/alignment. TB/Waterpump have been done already. Asking $1700 with the Pioneer in-dash DVD player, $1500 with no radio. pm me offers, i wont be offended, worse thing that can happen is i say no. Thanks, Tom
  4. Pm me the "buy it tomorrow cash price"...does it start with a 3? Tom
  5. Bump...looking for a nice clean daily that gets decent mpg. Tom
  6. Hunting a new daily to drive everyday to work...anyone have a decent civic for sale? I would much rather buy here than cl. Thanks Tom
  7. Really quick background, I'm starting a weekend project this week in our living room. The room has two exterior walls, and a wall that is against our garage, it is also above our non-heated crawl space. I'm drywalling the walls, but would like to insulate first including the garage wall. What insulation should I be using? R value? Brand? What has everyone used and liked lately? Thanks, Tom
  8. My buddy pulled a single horse with a V8 4runner and had zero issues. They never went far, but he was always happy with how it pulled. I have a v6 4runner that i have towed boats, jetskis, and trailers with and it has been great too. That being said, go get the cleanest Cummins you can afford. Tom
  9. I have 62 rounds of .45 Winchester FMJ 230gr, and 100 rounds of .45 Blazer FMJ 230gr Aluminum casing. Not sure what the going price is now days, but I'm asking $65 for all 162 rounds. I would prefer to trade for .223 Ammo/AR15 parts. Thanks, Tom
  10. I need the non-colt one...call me tomorrow. Tom
  11. If anyone has an extra quad rail for sale let me know. I would rather buy here than ship it. Thanks Tom
  12. Can you please pm me detail pricing for a 07 Honda Odyssey? Looking it get it ready for the summer, wax etc. Thanks Tom
  13. pm me what you want for it. thanks, tom
  14. I have zero experience with Polaris Windows, however we did our whole house last year with Vinylmax Windows (made in Hamilton, Ohio) last year and have been super happy so far. Good Luck... Tom
  15. There are guys claiming a 60 to 109 bump in HP just from the reflash. Tom
  16. Pretty much everything Keith said. I looked at a Spark in person, and for a brand new entry level ski they are pretty impressive. I haven't ridden one, it wont be "fast", but they are made from a light weight polytec so I'm assuming you can toss them around a bit. You can get either a 2 seater, or 3 seater and they sip fuel. Good luck Tom
  17. Seems to be a good deal if you need them. Black/tan are in stock at time of posting. They look cheaper than the "made to fit" mats, but for $35 I'm not complaining. http://m.sears.com/index-g.html#/productdetails/02866968000P?partnumber=02866968000P&sid=IAx20050830x000545 Tom MOD EDIT: Here's the non-mobile link to what looks to be the same thing. http://www.sears.com/weathertech-black-all-vehicle-front-rear-universal-mats/p-02866968000P?sLevel=0&redirectType=SKIP_LEVEL -copperhead
  18. Here is one more thing to think about, is this going to be your "forever" home? You may want to contact a realtor and inquire about how difficult it can be to sell a house with a pool in central Ohio. Just my .02. Tom
  19. Great job Rocky, looks like you got to work fast, and it turned out awesome. Glad you put it to good use. Tom
  20. Ugh...the bad news is that wunderground has been pretty accurate on our "bigger" storms this winter. Tom
  21. i feel really bad it has taken this long to get around to taking pictures, i'm sorry. you are first in line. All sold. Please lock. tom
  22. mattress is gone. I'm very sorry i have not gotten pics of the dresser to the folks that have asked. I have been super busy lately, and hopefully tomorrow i can get them sent to everyone. I have kept all PMs, and it will go to who PMd first. thanks, Tom
