driving around over the weekend in my 98 accord, 165k miles, i noticed the check engine light come on. no issues driving, just the damn light. pulled the codes, came up with egr failure, and catalytic converter error codes. great. ripped the egr valve off, cleaned it up, reset the cel, and drove it for a day. light back on instantly. same codes. you guys thinking i should try and replace the egr valve? or just put black tape over the light? jk tom
