  1. We just hosted an event at Vue in German Village. We supplied the alcohol, and it wasn't tight with 150ish people. No clue on cost, the only issue we had was parking...maybe ask for a deal with the Grange garage? Tom
  2. Brad, thanks for your response. Rough guess here, but the thought would be remove a wall and take the current 12x12 kitchen, and combine it with the 12x12 dining room, thus creating a large kitchen. The entire first floor would have all the flooring replaced as well, and new drywalled ceilings so there's that expense too. For the kitchen there would be moving of utilities, potential moving of windows, etc. Mid-high end everything would be my initial thought. I did something similar at my last house, but did all the work myself, if I remember right I was at $10k all in, but it was a much smaller space. Thanks, Tom
  3. We are just in the thinking stages of this process, but wanted to get some input. Has anyone used a contractor for a large scale kitchen/house remodel? If so, who, how did it go, and would you recommend them? It seems odd to me that rough online estimates are $15k-$150k...pretty large gap. Thanks, Tom
  4. PM me the details, a new daily would be nice. Thanks, Tom
  5. Nope, we are covered, I was just curious if your dealership was one that we have dealt with. Tom
  6. Thanks, I wasn't paying attention to your profile. I figured you worked at a Honda dealership. Tom
  7. Buy a boat with a title? Go get a weigh slip for the trailer? Tom
  8. We had my wife's previous, previous Odyssey at Roush for the same issue, plus serious 3-4 shift issues, plus all kinds of dash lights. Roush quoted a new transmission, plus labor. We sold it for nothing, and told the new owner it needed a transmission. I ran into the new owner three months later, and he told my that Germain Honda put two solenoids in it, and it ran like new. Long story short, get a second opinion if you feel you need to, and Odyssey transmissions sucked until 06+. Thanks, Tom
  9. I built one in a weekend following some basic plans I found online. The girls thought it was cool for like 3 months. Sorry this doesn't help you... Tom
  10. Great pickup, sounds like you are fixing all the things needed. Does it need a low pressure fuel sensor still? I'm curious how bad that job is. This should be an easy flip, if you decide to sell it. Tom
  11. Thanks, let me know...I still have your compressor too. Tom
  12. Thanks for the offer...I think ATT is GSM, and Verizon is CDMA. Tom
  13. I figured I would ask here before buying used somewhere else. Looking for a iPhone 6/6s or newer for Verizon. Thanks, Tom
  14. I heard this a couple weeks ago while I was getting tires installed. Congratulations again, a very big jump, but there is something to be said about being your own boss. Good luck with the new endeavor, and thanks for all the deals in the past. Tom
  15. +1 I'm curious on this too. I get stamped concrete is normally significantly cheaper, but what are the other pros vs. cons? It's not fun when concrete cracks, pavers are replaceable. BTW...I've seen pictures of Sam's work, and it all looks amazing. Tom
  16. my wife's entire family is in real estate...pm sent. Tom
  17. I have a new HF Air Compressor, Item #97089. $20 Thanks, Tom
  18. Great deal here...like all good sets of tires, these came from Derek too.
  19. Thanks...details on the 4runner? Does it need a head gasket? Lifted? Will you take $1k? On a serious note, great job turning that truck into what it should look like. Glad it went to a good home! Tom
  20. So, I might buy one-two (new to us) used cars. A brief online search keeps pointing to a wholesaler just south of Cleveland (kdkauto.com). It seems like those guys are only making a couple hundred per car...anyone legit doing this in town? Craigslist is a joke like always. Thanks, Tom
