800 cash right now, and you can keep the headlight covers. I know you are thinking it is a lowball offer. Yet I had one of these for two years, they are all kinds of fun to work on after 100k miles.

WNCI announced this afternoon that it will hit the net before the end of the week, unless there is some sort of legal action! What a great Thanksgiving present.

Hey guys I just bought my first bike today, and I have zero, and I mean NO experience with bikes. I know that Delaware offers a course that you take, and use their bikes, and at the end you take the test. Does anyone have the info on this...I looked online, but didnt really find much. I know it fills up fast.
If anyone has any other "Every newbie needs to know this..." advice, I am all ears...
Thanks,
Tom

Does this bike need anything major, or is it street ready? I am looking for something to learn on, and this sounds perfect!

Alt + tab to switch windows in IE.
As for the original problem, does your mouse change to an hourglass after the first double click? (ie. computer is working?)
I kinda doubt service pack 2 will fix the problem. Chances are it will only create more. I think the backup is a good idea.
Yes, it will go to the hourglass, for a second or two, but won't open IE. I have to do this about 9-10 times. Is there a general idea about what i should do with this thing? I want to smash it with a hammer!!!

Anthony,
I am really dumb when it comes to computers. Basically IE is ok, but what I have needs fixed, and Firefox sucks? I might PM you with some basic questions.
Thanks,

Hey guys, with all the computer help questions on this board lately, I figured I would add fuel to the fire. Several days ago, I noticed that IE would not open from my desktop. Finally after about 6-7 times of double clicking it would open. Also if I search for any site from any search engine, I get redirected to some other site. I have checked for all virus/spyware/malware etc, and really cleaned everything I could find.
Any ideas?

I stop close to my house and pick up smokes. Sometimes on the same days if I get a second pack, depending on what neighborhood I'm in I could be paying 50 cents more. State minimums are what you see retailers "advertising". I dont believe there is a cap on how high they can price their goods.
Just double-checked. The state sets a minimum of how low these items can be sold. They can raise them to whatever they want.
That is what I was getting at! The state sets a minimum so places aren't undercutting, and selling cheaper. You can walk into a gas station in any neighborhood, and pay what you would pay at a grocery store in any neighborhood. What you are doing when you buy close to your house is called smart shopping, finding sales or discounts on regulated items.

Why is liquor & ciggarettes more expensive in the areas more populated with blacks. These companies screw over who they can and the people they think will raise the least fuss.
I'm not too sure about this response. I'm sure I am going to get flamed for this, but there is no real world evidence to back this up. Just because you drop a liquor store in a "Black" neighborhood, doesn't mean they (shop owner) can raise the price. This is shown in state goverenment (ex. Ohio) priced items. The state regulates what items, will be charged at what price, on the items you mentioned.

I am looking for a set of really clean OEM wheels for a 98 Accord LX. If someone has tabs on a set let me know. If anyone has anything aftermarket that will fit, let me know I *might* be interested.
thanks in advance,

It should be really cheap, if you are paying more than about 150 for the year, you are paying too much. I would check into MetLife, or Erie for quotes.

Im sorry but you can get C5's all day long for WAY under 28,000. I can buy a 2001 Z06 for that. A regular C5 can be had for $21,000 and less.

99 CHEVY Tahoe LT. White ext., tan leather int, 4 WD. 96000 miles, new fuel pump (10/03), loaded, new tires, 6 month or 30k left on warranty, Great cond. $8,500 right now takes it. I don't think you will find one with a warranty for under 10,000. I need it gone now, so I can get my new car.

I hate to tell you this, but your car is going to be worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. You posted it forsale on Oct. 5th, and I am the only real offer you have seen yet. It is a 16 year old Taurus with one of the most expensive motor/drivetrains to fix.
$1200-$1300
That is your trade in price which I would say is a hair over my wholesale price. You have a car forsale, I made an offer, let me know. For the record mine was cared for until the day I sold it. Read up on the car first then tell me what folks think about their reliability. I know it was a tough call for you, but it sounds like you will be keeping this car for the rest of your life. I hope you have rich parents.
