It means the dealer can charge you an extra 100 bucks for something you don't need. It puts two holes in the top of the barrel above the light rail. It is to help recoil, and aim between shots. You only need it if you don't like to aim or you like to shot really fast without hitting anything. Shot a G17 and G17C, then give the same guns to your Grandma, she won't tell the difference.

After that being said, Vance's has new S&W Sigma 9mm (SW9VE) on sale for 279, and 17rd used mags for 10. This is a great target gun and a great price. Don't listen to the old news about the old models of these guns, the new ones are very reliable. If you want to shoot one first let me know. I really suggest you rent and shoot whatever gun you are looking into.

I hate to tell you this, but more than likely this will show up on your background check. If they arrested you and charged you with dv regardless of a guilty or not-guilty verdict. You may want to plan on how you are going to explain yourself, to the Oral board, background investigator, etc. Remember "the truth shall set you free". Where are you trying to get hired on at?

    good luck,

I doubt it has anything to do with IE. AOL doesn't us it to connect. Worst case reinstall AOL. What exactly does it do when you try to connect? You use dial up correct?

    you have a PM.

I am going to try to turn the AOL stuff back on. The first several attempts to dial up don't go through, then It signs on, but you can only work "offline", so you can't view current pages. That works for maybe 2-3 minutes, then it signs-off.

    thanks again,

Also run MSCONFIG and see what processes are listed under Startup. More than likely it will be listed in there. You might also want to check Add/Remove Programs and see if anything in there looks odd, like stuff you have not installed yourslef. One more thing, check the root of C:\ and see if there are any .EXE's listed in there and let me know what they are. You realy should't have any .EXE's listed in there. Some are like e.exe, n.exe, single letter .EXE's. Another thing, delete all files in your temp directory, temporary internet files, history and cookies.

If you want Print Screen the Task Manager/Processes and MSCONFIG/Startup and post it on here. I will be able to tell what is causing the problem.

Steve, you are the man. I don't really reconize any of the programs so I am typing them up for you to look at.

    Thanks,

    Tom
