Run Amsoil in the farm equipment, reduced fuel consumption, diesels don't smoke as much, longer change intervals, practicly 0 wear on internal components. Your first change it will plug the crap out of your oil filter quicly from all the dirt and sludge it breaks loose.

If it has an interior light, see if it is going off when you push the door switch ( should be able to push it with you finger or a non-metalic rod) Actually, is it like the end of cycle buzz going off, or an electric motor trying to start type buzz.

The white grandma car went 15.3 @ 88.1. 21570R15 tires and an open diff make for poor launching. I only got 2 good lauches, the rest where an extension of the burnout box for the first 150'.

Is there an identification tag on the pumpkin? Also, does the case have an "N" on it? Just things that will help to ID it. Oh yeah, also pics of the ends of the axles, the whole axle if it isnt to much of a hassle to pull it. FYI, some 9" rears had 8.75 gears (broncos some cars) and 28 spline shafts, most truck rears had true 9" and 31 spline shafts. One more thing, you said no gears, is there no carrier, or is it a open or trac loc?
