Correct. If you switch to synthetic, chage you filter after 100 miles, then again at 1000. All that crap it disolves will plug your filter quick.

Can you handle running race gas? Mill the heads. Port work. cams. bigger carbs. bigger exhaust. Hell, put a turbo on it. Turbo + Megasquirt. Lots to be done, just how much do you want to spend, and how much of the work can you do yourself.

Dead spot in the TPS sensor is a likely culprit. Hook it up to a scope and see if there is any noise in the potentiometer.

Roper top load washing machine, large capicity. No rust, runs prety damn good, but got a set of front loaders and no longer need it. Kenmore electric dryer, 220, runs well, slight rust on one side, just cosmetic, has had the "latch mod" on the door. They are located in my basement, just one flight of stairs. If you bring over a keg of bud ice, ill help you get them up the stairs and load them up. I even have an empty you can have to get your deposit back. We run AMSOIL in all of our farm equipment, and it has done wonders for reducing wear. Using a good filter and changing it on a regular basis is key, the oil itself lasts for a long time. We have one tractor (Farmall w/ B&M turbo kit) that we use to pull anhydrous, and run against the stack temp the whole time. The oil looks good, even after 3 times the recomeneded change interval.

TH425 + any BOP pattern V8. Or an adapter plate and bolt on an LSx. All the tourque you will ever need to do wheelstands. If you run a tube chasis, use the tubes as part of the cooling system.
