Also guys I did not create the title of this thread. I can't wait for kilkare's new surface. Rumor I heard was 1/4 mile concrete. And usually my mispelled shit is the phones little keys and no service at work. But I also don't care.

yes the track was really that bad. I 60ft harder on a 9psi pass at marion and we all know that's the worst track ever. Shawn almost had to eat a wall. Never got to touch the spray.

For the s10 supr nats in bg ky they put it in the contract. Track will be sprayed and drug for normal prep. Additional vht can be purchased for 10 a gallon. Id have no issue as well as most other to pitch in 20 bucks for 2 gallons. Usually a track that's preped sprayed in the am don't require as much work in the afternoon. The sun helps a lot.

Dan I feel the same way I wouldent mind to pay for the track to get sprayed. In my eyes its a safety item just like all the bs we have to buy to meet rules. My point is they sprayed 0 times knowing full and well the track was a pos.

I do what I have to. This sport is a hobby I don't race for money. Just for fun. And when tracks don't spray. the track it makes it hard to have fun. Funny things is the cars that trap 140plus said it was crap and yet the cars that trap 80 say damn that track hooks yo. Funny. Phil stick to being slow u don't have a fuckin clue what it takes to make a fast car hook. yea rays car works awsome on a good track stick rays car on that track with no vht. And it would be very serious issue.

Trails used to be my fav track. Would work all the time. Did u guys watch the track prep? I did they sprayed 0 times in the am and 0 times through the day. That's why I'm complaining. If we can pay for track bite cool have everyone pay 5 bucks more and spray the bitch a few times. Ray why don't u come to cr track rentals. Id bet u 1000 bucks u wouldent have went 100 ft without a wall in your face. It was bad. When my big ass steamrollers as u call them can't hook I'm shure your setup would have been extra dicey. But since u weren't there guess we will never know. HUH

I love the 4 link. Besides trails the truck 60fts prety much the same I mean within a few thou. I usually hit 3 sometimes 4 diff tracks a season. I'm adding a antiroll bar this winter it really should be quicker to 60ft. I'm also moving the motor back 3 to 4 " to help with the weight a little. Ill have my new 1000sq ft garage in 2 weeks. I'm also buying a set of scales. Gona move crap arround till I'm happy with it. There is a short bed s10 on s10racer.com tubbed like mine 1.24 60 ft on a non adj qa1 shock. I have koni spa1 double adj. And the key is shock adj. Once the 4 link is set its set like a ladderbar. U can raise a ladder up and down for harder or softer hit. Another problem I have is I'm actually faster with the 4.56s but it skates all over the track causethe wheel speed coms up so fast. I only have a manual boost controller. No ramp. Launch off the brake 11 to 13psi and 15 all the wa down.

Buy the old supra on cl for 750. My 355 nitrous motor and1 noid run progressive spray and go low 9s all day. Drive it everywhere.

I will try pacemakers and I bet its the same as kilkare and marion this yr. I've had good 60fts at trails when they prep the track. I've had a 1.28 60 there but consistantly trails is the worst I try. Yes I've lefr with 3psi 7ps 2psi and 15psi. Track day 1.5 60 best and had to let out 3 of 4 passes and got all screwy at 660ft mark but I pulled it back in the grove. Maybe ill stick to only racing my camaro there since its for slow cars. Or track events only! Lol

Ok I'm lost obvious my suspension sucks. This yr same everything and lanuch boost Kilkare 1.32 Marion 1.32 Trails 3 diff days 1.55 best Explain your logic how that's a issue with my suspension and not a pos track without proper prep. I'm not racing a car here my weight split is 70/30 so yea its obvious my crappy suspension. Damn I must go unbolt the 4 link remove the 1200dollar konis and install truck shocks and wagon wheels to make it hook at trails. I swear some of u smart people really are so stupid. If u contine to let tracks run all over the racer how are we ever gona get good tracks back. Yes norwalk sucks who wants to drive 2.5 hrs for 1 maybe 2passes at best. Ill just stick to marion and kilkare and out 60ft so called good tracks every day of the week. My worst 60 ft at kilkare or marion on 9psi was 1.40.

I'm not blaming the track that I've only went 9.002 at marion this yr. I'm saying the best 60 ft I've seen at trails is a 1.59 marion 1.32 if marion sucks that bad and I can 60 ft 1.32. Where is the trail of old that gave a shit and preped the track. I should be able to go at least a 1.32 at trails if it is so much better right. I went 1.32 at kilkare as well. So what's that say for trails. All were tnt nights. Dan called the track to complain no fucks given. And that's the problem someone has to die to to the track non prep for them to give a fuck. I think that's bs u won't change my mind.

Your missing the point. all tracks are skimping on track prep. i just think for a track rental it should include a pass or two with track bite. no way that should kill the budget. or offer it like bg is in may. 10 bucks a gallon im shure more fast cars would go.

I bought my 01z for 10000 out the door 1 owner. 37000 miles. Its my daily driver till bad weather. So far I've done little bolt ons and with each one its just a little funner. Mines a 6 speed. And personally I think it shifts like crap. This winter early spring once the turbo goes on the trans is comming out for dome major attention to how it shifts. But that's my only gripe we'll they do eat about .5qt oil between 6000 mile oil changes.

Yea most are 1/8th mile. Most common are trails. Norwalk kilkare, marion, thompson, edgewater dw42, pacemakers. Then a bunch of small ones. I guess I expect more for a track rental. A group of s10 owners rent bowling green once a yr. The give the option of buying track bite. 10 bucks a gallon. If the track would evan give the option I'm shure more fast cars woul come. Ohio is home to some damn fast cars why not try and get a track preped to watch them work correctly.

I can't say how norwalk is now I haven't went since super chevy was there I believe 3 yrs ago. And a lot of people complained then but it was water comming through the track about 660ft. Superchevy quit going cause all the nitro cars complained about the track.

Phil your not quick enuf to have any opinion also are u the fastest street racer in the world. Why do u car about track prep. This is for people that care about the trac surface and their safety. I remember not evan 10 yrs ago trails preped the track on wen inport night. Spray drag then spray again. They still get a decent car count on fridays but no prep. And on sat and sun points nights I've also seen them slow down on the track prep. And as a result a lot of trails regulars look elsewere to race. We have I believe 28 dragstrips in oh. Why should 3 of them work great and the rest not care?

Kilkare's new surface should be amazing proably will be the fastest track outside of a preped norwalk. Only reason I say local is norwalk is 2.5hrs thompson 3.5hrs edgewater 2hrs. They're great tracks but to just test parts changes local tracks trails 35min marion 1hr kilkare 1.10 min or so. Logic if a track is a better track like u fast guys say. Explain how me shawn dustin all 8 sec vehicles 60 ft harder at a unpreped marion than a so called preped trails. I'm not speeking for mark or ray but I doubt they would come to these track rentals and try to laydown any power on the crappy surface. Ray ran marion and his car worked well there Facts 1.5 best 60ft 3 times at trails this yr 1.28 60ft marion unpreped 2 times 1.32 60ft evan with a 3.90 gr

yep its dumn to not wana crash and get hurt because the local tracks won't prep.id sell all my shit and say fuckit. I understand most of u don't have 60000 in your cars u don't run faster than 11s so big fn deal. There is a reason fast cars don't show. I've been racing trails since 1997 and they used to spray the track and prep on a wen night to keep it safe. So did others. And marion is not a great track at all. Just sucks it is faster for most fast cars nd it shouldn't be that way. So if your slower than 10s your opinion is mute u can run in the rain for all I care.

Actually I've been wanting the kit I sold back it was for ls1 throttle body. I should have kept it.
