  1. i would hit every 8.90 race if i didnt have to tow 3.3 hrs there and 3.3 hrs back. wich means loading up at about 3am to go race. i still wana do one or a couple but this is hard as hell to do by myself. and after the tow back still have to unload, take trailer back then come home to unpack truck. wich is about a extra hour. if trails could get this going in a class for everyone like thompsons 8.90s street car class, heads up street car full interior and how u get there is your problem. then do a 9.90 or 10.50 class the same way. so more can play. i really dont like brackets.
  2. i wish they could do some sort of heads up door car stuff. man i just checked thompson for 8.90 class and its 193 mi, 3 hours 30 mins I-71 N from my house and bluegrass raceway park 1/8th mile is 140 miles and 3 15m from my house kilkare is 71 miles away. trails less than a hr. really the only class i fit into at trails is super classes. heads up but i dont have a throttle stop or delay box. i want a true heads up door car class for people that dont have a unlimited budget or wana tow 3 hrs each way to do it.

  4. hey guys ive had this bullet cam out of my s10 sitting under the bed for about 2 yrs. i dont have to sell it but if somone needs a cool roller for their combo im gona let it go. i paid over 375w shipping. but ill take 275 firm. its in great shape no rust, ready to install, some roller marks on the lobes but no wiped lobes and never had a single issue with a roller on this cam. went 11.02 at 127 with my 355 12.4:1 comp in my long bed s10. pulling a 32x14 slick it didnt 60ft good wich i would expect any tubbed truck at 3600 lb not to with a 355 all motor, but the 127 mph was kick butt. i shifted it at 7800 with 5.67 grs, for 1/4. yes it takes that much gear to pull those big tires on all motor, with 4.56s and spray 225 shot it went 9.90s at 134 consistant. its not a nitrous cam but worked just as good as my crane nos roller thats in my blazer right now. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/2001%20camaro%20z28%20turbo%20project/2011-11-26194557.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/2001%20camaro%20z28%20turbo%20project/2011-11-26194547.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/2001%20camaro%20z28%20turbo%20project/2011-11-26194645.jpg any questions about it just ask.
  5. being as im tunning the car and cutting my teeth on the hp tunners setup. i want sd. no need at all for a maf on this setup. shure it is a great setup but also no way to package the ic pipe and make it look good at all. anyone wana find a pic of a 4th gen turbo kit with MAF. the look is important too! http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d71/Mattsv8_03/2001%20camaro%20z28%20turbo%20project/2011-10-11185658-1.jpg where in this setup would u put the maf and still get the 90 with enuf room for a bead to make the clamp hold. this kit keeps the ac so the rad is tilted down more than a kit that stands the rad upright without ac. its ment to be a bolt on and look good!
  6. Throttle stuck he was sent to hospital but ok luckly the car stuck and wasent moving at wot. Crazy how long it ran at wot burnning out.

  8. Yea on a ford. They deletthe maf on a heads cam ls1. Sd tune is no harder than anyother tune on these cars. Plus id think most that wana go turbo will enjoy the delete of the ugly maf and just a nice charge pipe
  9. u will have more pump than u will use. i went 9.03 at 151 with a single a1000 on e85. and had fuel to spare. im shure evan with efi u will have more than enuf

  11. na its a 1st gen roller. baddest cam ive seen work wise. im gona be ordering another but with about 20 deg less dur and try to get more tq from my small 357 motor. this cam would be a bad mofo with a f1 or f2. 6or 8 71 and just about any other mid to larger supercharger.

  14. Chad I believe every build I've ever seen delets the maf and most heads cam cars do as well. The sd tune is very popular I don't see anyone complaining about ditching the maf

  16. Ws makes sense. U could get a kit for the cost of a cam and headers y and exh but actually make 500whp and keep ur mileage and daily driver status.
  17. Spring will be fun. Should have the 370" motor with my hand ported heads ready early spring. Gona dyno with stock motor stock fs and map tune then stock motor with 317 heads then proably swap to the 370" and shoot for my power goal of 700 750whp
