  1. u know thats a 6-71 not a 8-71 right???? and those look to be a double hump head with accry bolts, steel and or dart sportsman 2s.

  3. Well so far my list is like this. Camshaft swap ; ms4 or cam for more tq and spray I'm thinking a 113 for better driveability and cyl pressure in the lower rpms so little mr tq for loss of afew hp. But I know drag cars need a lot of low end tq and I plan on spraying straight off the 2 step. I wana run 10s with it but also daily drive it and be able to lock in a deicent tune for the mpg.. will likley swap to e85. Ls2 timing chain ls6 ported oil pump. Ported stock heads w prc dual springs Might do a l92 head lsx102r intake combo? Spec 3+ cause its driveable and can hold the hit. I will rebuild the t56 w steel shift fork. Billett keys think carbon fiber syncros from dnd viper tailshaft swap Pro 5.0 shifter Tsp or kooks 1 7/8 lt w 3 or 3.5" true duals Racetronics fuel pump Will need diff inj for e85 Moser 9" 35 spline pro spool Qa1 adj fronts and better rear shocks Someones tunnel mt tq arm w loops Adj rod end lower control arms Relocation brackets Who makes the best strength and fit subframe connectors id like to keep the 6pt out of the car 28x12x5 et streets or 26x10 et drags Billett streetlights Hp tunners or efi live id like to get opinions on these it will be low power spray then a 6l w some turbo so id wana be able to tune for both.   5. hey guys i wana start on the mods for the camaro just gathering all parts and a hp tunner kit so i can tune it. im looking for following items and wana know what works and what dosent. headers 1 7/8 min 3" y pipe or true duals and reasons why. looking to magnaflow cat back if i go the y route. camshaft. i want someting that at least sounds like my other rollers. so 580 lift or more. springs. whats the best other things im modding are clutch. 9" tq arm conrol arms and panhard bar. also have a nos kit wich will be on 100shot, and leaving dead off the 2 step so thats where the clutch comes in need one to hold about a 200 to 250 ft lb increase from peak stock and at about 4500 clutch drop. nos window/activation switch. and anything im forgetting like ls2 timing chain or other safety engine items. may go ahead and port stock heads and add h beams and forged pistons while im in it. possible change to compression for boost later.
  6. ill be at the track soon proably the cr track rental if i can stop working 12 hrs a day every damn day and get this motor built and installed. i dont have a powershack membership anymore didnt have anyoneto train with and didnt wana pay 2 gym memberships.
  7. some classes if you burn out past the tree its a automatic win to the other lane.
  8. not all im 280 and looking to lean out to about 250. congrats. man hey whats a good fat burner i could try? i need someting taking nothing now. but do train 5 days a week 30 min cardio then 1hr training with the big weights. not powerlifing big but big enuf to build muscle.

    i dont know any records but ido know a long time ago proably 80s maybe early 90s thre was groups of 200+mph land speed cars that would make said night runs on270. dont know the times though. but if 270 was as smooth as it was back then would be great to see.
  10. do not buy the qfconversion blocks. ud need about 400 more to finish the carb. wich would be the same as buying a tuned new one with all billet parts
  11. the e85 quickfuel carbs are cheap at jegs racer is over 100 off.!!
  12. i was gona say with spinning yes. but evan then the tq hit could break it. deff dont do it one of the lessons ive had to learn the hard way is pay more up front buy the best and u will save a lot in the end.

    been running the same -10 an lines for 14 yrs. deff not junk. nor are they hurt inside in any way. also run e85. any good quality braided stianless or the nylon lighter style hose should have a long life and no issues.or stainless fuel lines. u basicly dont want cheap plastic or alum fuel lines
  15. weather.com shows a 2 hr gap in the rain not enuf time with no sun to dry the track. im gona continue the build of the new motor. hopefully it will get rescheduled to another weekend so i can bring it.

  17. mark i have the go pro now as well. how did you get it to shut off at the end of the run while driving or was that just a edit.? how are you triggering it to record and stop got the roll cage mount too.! cant wait to use it ur car looks great u doing anything for that 2nd gear change to keep the wheel spin down.
  18. What do u use for the tune john? I'm looking at getting a hp tunners setup so ill be able to change things I don't like to pay for anything that I can learn myself. If u are using hp tunners is it easy to learn? Or u recomend something else

  23. i got the kit for mine but wana change some stuff before i use it. mainly the rear end, control arms, tq arm subframe connectors, headers, exh cat back, cam and port the heads. oh yea and a clutch, with some mods to the stock t56. then ill feel safe to drop the clutch with the two step set arround 4500. to 5500. depending on what cam i use.
