The "halo" might be real, but there would have been more of the disc hanging off the axle. Looks like they took the back of the disc and vanes out and put the "halo" back in for the picture. Mine is a 98, but the Series 2 is E85 incompatible right up to 06, when the Bonneville and LeSabre were the only cars running it. It's not just the seals and such. You'd have to own a tuner so you could put in different tunes for gas or E85, and you would have to run the tank nearly dry before switching so you didn't throw the tune off...been discussed ad-nauseum on the Bonneville forums with some dickhead who keeps harping on the glories of E85. Asshole runs a forum for an E85 producer...

All you have to do is go to an import tuner show to figure out how correct this man is.

There are quite a few out there running on SBCs, 5.0s, and other 80s/90s V8s and transmissions. Not to mention different fuel lines, brake lines, fuel pumps, basically every line or module that carried any kid of flammable liquid...they had a horrific tendency to burst into flames at the slightest provocation...

I can't name a source, but there have been numerous articles and reports talking about the high percentage(nowhere near 80% but still high), of athletes who go rapidly broke after their career ends. They keep spending the same way they did when they were playing, and rapidly go bankrupt. It's the same kind ofthing that happens with lottery winners. The thing is, I've also seen a couple where the writers state that the longer a player's career is, or the lower he was on the pay-scale, the more chance they have of staying solvent...

The dealership is allowed to sell them to salvage yards for parts, but the engine still has to be "liquid glassed", so there isn't much point for a salvage yard in buying C4C cars. BTW, did anyone read the article in the Dispatch today? Car sales up, other retail down, way down.
