    Can he DIY? doing all three of them would take a few hours,w pump a t stat are 4x10mm bolts each and getting the to them is pretty easy,should be less than $300 in parts. Has he checked to see if the overflow tank has a leak in it? mine did but was not showing up until we pressure tested it.
