  1. You misunderstood, I was more thinking of it as a way to kill your spouse and get away with it.
  2. I wasn't criticizing the drivers (A Scott and a Frenchman), but the Porsche and Mercedes aero guys for not keeping the noses down.
  3. "Oh mah gawd, some one broke in BLAM BLAM oh noooo I turned the lights on and I see it's mah wife coming home late nooooo" I don't see a heck of allot of ways to go with this, stay out of peoples homes. I'd be nervous if I cleaned hotel rooms though.
  4. Suckorrection, more like it. . Rolling at speed is one thing, doing it at 10mph takes skill. Dig the Lada in the background, hawt. Double dose of German aero
  5. It's 100% harmless and stupid, this was done by a friend of yours, guaranteed. -cone on sunroof glass = no scratchy, harmless -dial-in window wax paint on window = harmless Is it your birthday? Anniversary? Miss a birthday? miss a drinkin outing with friends?
  6. The only two fish in the whitehouse aquarium: http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/729/redheeringcy9.png
  7. I drifted an 88 park avenue on a regular basis... on dirt/gravel. (yes drift, no e-brake) You can do it in anything.
  8. Looked dead in those vids, I didn't see one confirmable grand stand (meaning they were small). Methinks now would be a better time for motorsport in Columbus, as well. In the 80's all anyone wanted to do was coke.
  9. It's hard to stuff a fleshlight in a clowns ass, too, but you don't hear anyone bitching about it. dremeling the nips out of the fastener is also an option.
  10. Kentucky is somewhat meaner to car owners than Ohio, if it Passed there, it'll be fine here. I'd wait for the new GTR to hit the showrooms, should bring prices down.
  11. If anyone does that in my car, I'll punch them in the taint.
  12. That would have been me. I forget what my best time was. lol Bit o' history: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NcMhBTTuSWg
  13. SN95 master cylinder, how big is the bore and how long is the stroke (what is the volume of fluid being squished)? I've seen reference that the 93 cobra and SN95 share the same MC? 1" bore? Thanks in advance.
  14. Took a drive of it last night, there are a few problems: -Topography; the apartment people will be stuck, there's no way to get them out onto Grandview without using the course. -Bloody landscaping. Where Watermark hits Grandview, there's a plater smack-dab in the middle, one one lane passes on each side. This will have to dug up. -Onramp; As noted before, it will have to be widend.
  15. The lake is big, but not that big. The island can be backed with grandstands facing out. Furthermore, all of the course, minus the apartments and onramp, is flanked by praking lots, big flat spaces to put grandstands. If 670e is also closed, Grandstands can be put there (makes sense if the pits and finish will be there). I'd say that over 100% would be visible from some seating, some where. Thats more than you can say for some tracks. Runoff space is a legitimate concern. This isn't going to be a 'plug-n-play' event, the city will have to invest in a few changes: Removable center dividers on the highway, temp catch-barriers pretty much everywhere, safer barriers and sand traps, or possibly some of the more modern speed-scrubbing surfaces. Walled tracks with few places to run-off aren't unheard of. There is also plenty of room for stewards. Keep in mind, a nest isn't that big and we wont be using all of the road surface.
  16. That, and the fuel needed to restart the engine would probably last a few miles.
  17. i used to dive in off of 670W and to a U turn at the end, and ride it out to 670E... untill I passed a broken down van on my second-last apex under the bridge (couldn't see it on approach). I wonder if anyone was in it, and what they noticed the Tbird going by at 120mph, or if they thought it was a gust of wind.
  18. There are two lights to go through, and at least one of the streets is trafficed and patrolled. To find it, hop on google earth and start at downtown columbus, work your way west until you see it. I'm not making it that easy.
  19. Actually, Iwasn't bored at all. lol I was int he middle of a drawing revision, and for some reason my mind wondered to "back in the day" taking that offramp at speed, and I thought: Hmmmm In 10 min, I'd googled the area and MS painted those maps. The spot is just that perfect.
  20. http://www.selectmotorracing.com/Circuits/circuit06_Monaco.jpg http://www.ticketvision.com/seatingcharts/cal-long%20beach%20grand%20prix.jpg http://www.corvetteracing.com/tracks/trk_img/detroit/detroit.gif http://joemarks.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/gillesvilleneuve.jpg
  21. http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/4821/columbusgpwy5.jpg Would be one of the fastest tracks in the world. Seatine could be ample, as there would be many flat parking lots along the track in which to erect grandstands. The island int he middle would serve as race control and offer seating as well. Floatillas may also be an option, allowing boats to put-in at a premium cost. Logistics: Below is an area of map of the minimum amount of highway needing to be closed for the event. One could add to that the closure of east-bound lanes as well, and use it for behind-pit seating. Anyone who's stood on 4-5 lanes of highways knows that there is allot of room on it, the spaces in yellow would serve as parking and paddock, as well as offering behind-wall emergency vehicle access to much of the track. http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/3301/closuresti2.jpg 670 traffic can be detoured to I70. Local traffic shouldn't be much of an issue, as it is primarily a buisness district. The apartment comlex could be "vented" by providing a temporary dirt/gravel exit to Grandview Ave south of the track crossing. So, who do I submit this to?
  22. Oh, forgot about that! I have an aluminum radiator and electric fan that I've been meaning to stuff in there.
  23. Another option is taller tire, in lieu of gearing. I'm not realy to worried about the weight of the PS/AC, as much asi am concerned about their drag on a weak engine. On straight-flat highway, weight means failry little once you're at speed. At that point, it's all RPM and drag.
  24. http://www.sccoa.com, they'll have ICs there too.
