  1. Had to find that. Gentlemen Broncos http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1161418/
  2. People calling themselves "parents" of their pets secretly piss me off to no end. It's like a cubscout calling himself a SEAL.
  3. That was actually 10x easier than draining the system in the fall... that is, if I'd drained the system in the fall.
  4. I've got RTV and green loctite accessible... and I'm prepping it for delivery to a new owner. I'm inclined to go with what I have.
  5. You mean it doesn't take much to push them THROUGH? I'm having visions of that right now, I think I can cobble together a simple tool that will tap them in without being able to fit through the hole. The engine is still in the car, so it would be nice to have something that doesn't require finesses and babysitting.
  6. How much force is necessary to put a freeze plug back in? Or rather, a new one. I have access to the port it popped out of, can I do this with a hammer and big punch? Should I run some RTV or JB weld around the edge?
  7. Looks likeI've got a buyer waythe hell down in Oak Ridge, TN.... some one up here buy it so I don't have to drive it 4 hours!
  8. Not the sharpest pencil in the drawer, are you? What twisted path of mental presumption lead you to that completely backwards conclusion? The guy was psychotic. That's not an internet forum accusation, it's a clinical observation. His motives make less sense than "I did it to impress Jodi Foster" or "Have you heard of Fluoridation, Mandrake?". Can we have mandatory psyc evaluations now? That's nuttier than my shit after a PayDay bar. There are a lot of people who jumped to a conclusion of political affiliation as soon as the heard there was a shooting. I'm glad this asshat was completely insane and had no political affiliations, we don't need that.
  9. Cutting it close makes it fun. If I had nothing to live for, I'd try it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug1rCyeNujU
  10. first quote came back, $550 for a running car. That's way too steep. I'm haggling on price now, knocking off $300 if the buyer comes up and picks up the car.
  11. Got a strong lead, he's leading me to believe that he's buying it. :bangbang:
  12. It's drivable, but it's mummified for winter. It'd be much easier on me to have it hauled than to de-winterize it and prep it for a 4 hour trip, then drive the god awful thing for 4 long hours. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Shiver
  13. I may need to have a car shipped from residence to residence, Cincinnati to Knoxville TN.... and have no idea how much it costs. Anyone have experience with this? What should it cost?
  14. Guys the CL ad is not the same guy. The guy i'm referring to is not sellign lots, he's selling whatever sells. There are two 15ft stacks, 8ft long planks an inch thick, varying widths. I've never seen nor heard of so much cherry in my life. He says he found a buyer in China that was going to make veneer out of it... but the buyer backed out after he bought the wood, and he's looking to move it.
  15. That's not the guy, but doesn't look like a bad deal... going strictly by numbers. The quality may be poo. Price was $3.25 per board foot for the inch thick stuff. There are a handful of 2" thick slabs, but I didn't ask about them.
  16. No idea, didn't check CL, heard about this through the grape vine.
  17. Place north of Deleware in Ashely, they have about $70,000 worth of cherry boards, rough cuts, over an inch thinck and 8+ft long. Some planks over 20" wide, I've never seen a plank of cherry that wide! It's a lumber yard about 2 miles east of Ashely, OH. On 229.

  20. I used to have this on my desk at work, just because my boss has a mountain-motivational poster in his office. The caption was implied. http://c0278592.cdn.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/original/145234.jpg
  21. I thought the last push to the top was unpaved? the bit they close in winter? I'm trying to plan a climbing trip up Pikes for the ralley. IIRC there's a sub-peak near the top that gives you a view of almost 3 miles of track.
  22. I said paved. Very familiar with the alpine tracts, but I was catering to pussies. Trail Ridge Road is a blast if you've got boost and brakes. http://mybozarth.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/rocky_mountain_trail_ridge.jpg http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/scenic-drive-in-colorado-trail-ridge-road-beaver-meadow-road-ga-2.jpg
