I've been going to Holden yearly since 2007. Love it there, tons of families, but we basically just sit on the beach and drink all day till about 2pm and then we head back to the house due to the heat. Its "busy" season is like Myrtle Beach in Febuary, its never crowded and very chill.

You could get it either way, mine has PS but when i was buying the new steering box there were also manual steering boxes.

My 79 cj5 has power steering. I also added the YJ seats with a slider to make it easier to get in and out of. Definitely a pain in the ass.

i have a 79 CJ-5 and its in rougher shape, but i paid $1800 for it. Runs, drives, but not road worthy. I'd say 4k is a little high, maybe 3k?

If you are buying something with a core charge on it from a parts store, buy it online. When you buy it online there is a loophole and you will get your tax money back from them. if you buy something in store with a core charge of $100 you pay $107 after taxes for that core, then you return it, and you only get $100 back due to state of Ohio laws apparently. However, if you buy online you get $107 back free and clear. p.s. if you buy parts online at advance auto, you can almost always find a coupon for 25% off.

I had friends that used it for the Nebraska OSU game this past year. Find something close to your destination to save on mileage fees, and then you just park it where you want it and use it, then return it with very little miles used. They lucked out and the guy actually delivered it to the campgrounds for them and even helped set it up. This obviously only works for campers, if you are renting the RV Motorhome type then you might want it for the drive.
