I'm hoping I can keep it alive for awhile. A lot of it is how you drive the boat, smooth on the sticks and keeping the rpms under 3k when getting on plane should help.

It's so close There are only a few small things left to finish before tuning begins. I'm looking forward to firing it this week and having it on the water for the first time this season next weekend. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/889570E0-5783-42B2-B06B-559476245A82_zpsu54vn73c.jpg My headers turned out really good. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/9100aa03-d92a-4d45-ab92-b5a5f67f3a48_zpsce9a7a13.jpg I even spent some time in my trailer wheels http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/E7E281CB-6D6C-4C65-8E5C-F7C907B7CA62_zpsefuhgu3w.jpg I guess it's time for new lug nuts. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/0CF433E5-3CEF-41DD-B4A2-C437216A48FA_zpsvvx18zpm.jpg

I have a similar problem, they are either moles or a neighborhood cat. Digging in the flower beds and potted plans on the front porch. Mothballs seems to help. They were cheap and that is where I started.

Well, I had a bit of a set back and had to pull the motor only to just put it back in. I forgot to install the block off plate when I removed the Corsa exhaust. Well the motor is back in and I made some progress this weekend. Cleaned up all the wiring, mounted the Mercathode to the transom, mounted and installed the intercooler, fit the intercooler piping and got both pipes ready for powder coating. I still have to mount and run all the lines for the catch can, intercooler dump, finish the headers and powder coat a few things. I'm hoping to fire it up next weekend. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/AB2E55D8-A793-4414-9208-6B5FB267F46A_zpseavfw9kr.jpg Relocated the oil filter http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/2ed7b3d6-39ce-4d1d-a369-49636dfeb72f_zps15207c28.jpg I through bolted the bracket. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/C60C6F3C-E1B8-4EE4-B7AE-AE905E24AF9F_zpshk3kfexi.jpg http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/738D842F-4159-4941-B1FD-7A358C0FA09E_zps6c0uzlqq.jpg Clearance picture and fuel filter. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/91076F56-5D51-4902-9486-BABEABEF22AE_zpsuov6xve6.jpg

Still waiting on MooreSpeed to finish the last header.
-
Finished all the MSD wiring, fuel system is in and wired, relocated the oil filter, powder coated the custom bracket. Finished and powder coated the intercooler bracket only to find out the intercooler bleeds off pressure and I need to order a new one. Still on my to do list: Rewire Mercathod Strip and powder coat headers (Still waiting on John Moore to finish the second) Powder coat both intercooler pipes Pickup 3 inch coupler Change/Add fluids Mount and plum catch can Install wide band and boost gauge relocate hatch actuator Run intercooler exit lines Install outdrive I feel like it's a never ending list.

Thanks, I can't wait to get everyone out on it. Yeah I learned buying used kits makes life stressful and fabrications takes 4x longer than you think it's going to take.

Made some more progress yesterday. I only need about another full day working on the boat to finish it up and have it running. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/694367AF-399D-454F-ADDD-80F8361FBD22_zpsgs4ggt6y.jpg http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/E6BF0426-8183-485C-AE54-A7191D06ECE6_zpspikdkrlx.jpg http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/00E2F5AB-3AD2-45B7-A71C-D8F9BD9B92BD_zpsymk1w4i5.jpg

650 with 5-6 pounds of boost this season
-
Still at Moore's getting modified. He ordered more material on Monday, hoping to have them this weekend and wrap everything up. I still need to do the fuel system, ignition and the rest of the rigging.
-
I'm doing the build with Bill and Elijah's direction/input/help.
-
Make sure you pull the E-brake again to introduce yourself. Congrats on the new job.

Are there any Truck recalls for ignition issues?

I made some more progress yesterday. It's ready to drop in. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u57/playwithlinn/96859A9A-424F-4ABE-93D2-AC6770A98247_zpsa6yghmee.jpg

There have been a lot of "go fast" boats there this season and it's seemed the Alum creek guys have been heading to buckeye. Guys with 25-36 ft boats.

EMaxx - $500 GTP2e - $400 Sprint Flux- $240 <--- Price drop and I will include drift wheels/tires if needed. EMaxx Parts - $30 <---- Price drop -
The boat is not done yet, I'll have a big update after this weekend. If you know the lake the depth is not much of an issue. I just make sure I pay attention to where my trim is all the time and look to see if I'm string up mud before I attempt to get on plane. There are much larger boats than mine on Buckeye.

You can stand in most of the swim area.

Two hours in the water at Buckeye and my toe nails turned yellow, LOL. When you anchor in the swim areas at Buckeye you get to watch all the boats fly by. At Alum you don't get to see that at all.
