i drove for a few months in california(legal u-turns) and then straight to puerto rico(legal u-turns,or maybe just not inforced) anyway. once you get in the habit.it's kinda hard to break it. i catch myself in one fairly often.

you can get a Z32 motorset from zerolift for like 2500 if you pick it up.there is some fabrication involved,and the stock output is 280hp(ish). even though the sr20is played out a bit,it's a really good option for ease of installation and good power output for the dollar. cheaper too by almost a grand.depending on what flavor of Sr20 you want.

you won't need it with the wideband,and the EGT is hard to tune with anyway.there's too many variables. is it hot because your timing is advanced?retarded? lean?...i don't like them. and noone can tell you what it should read from the get go,because odds are noones probe is in the exact same spot. 2 inches on the manifold makes a significant change to the temp read on an EGT.

thats a nasty gremlin there.any reason why you didn't hook up the stuff on the new hatch? and what did you do with the connectors? i've had my KA harness apart a few times and noticed that alot of circuits share grounds. if you had a bad one(or 2) under the dash, it may have been using the hatch circuits ground.now it's dependent on the possibly bad ones under the dash(both sides) if you have an FSM i'de suggest checking out the EL section and checking all your bodygrounds for tightness and corrosion.if you don't have an FSM you can d/load it from www.zeroyon.com in the tech section.

nah, platinums are fine.i've had them in my car with no detonation at 18psi. i'm not really on the razors edge of tune though. i have a conservative timing curve with a 12:1 afr.
