i vote for b18b and a bolt on turbokit. the swap would be cheap.and honda turbokits are getting retardedly cheap. like 600$new for an exernally gated t3/t4 kit with everything but fuel and chargepipes.

maximum boost by corky bell. good book that covers all the basics and some advanced stuff.like compressor maps.some of the info is a bit dated(like draw through system design) but it's good stuff.

and before you drop cash on a t51r or something,take a look under the hood and figure out where it fits.here's a hint(it doesn't) all the high power Z32's ive seen keep the twin configuration.

a good timer will base the length of the cooldown time on how hard you were driving before turning the car off. it will also disable itself if the parking brake is disengaged.

i got a pivot timer for 60 on ebay(new) it does everything you could ask of a timer and is really small.

i scored some heim joint tie-rod ends for my nissan. seems like something similiar would be easily fabbed up out of the McMaster Carr catalog.

depends ALOT on the particular unit.i dunno what you could possibly get for 500$ except maybe a megasquirt.wich is a good system for most applications, but definitly not for a first timer. you could also consider skipping the dyno time and buying a wideband to do your own tuning.just make sure you're really familiar with your interface and start very conservative.

i've heard of routers that use the wall outlets in the house as an interface, but not broadband from the powercompany.that would be sweet though, as long as it was faster and/or cheaper than roadrunner.

it's not like they are made to catch pieces of your block that happen to be falling off. most bearings are tri-metal with steel in them.thats what those magnets catch.

the s12(200sx) was equipped with either the 3.0 vg30et or a 2.0 i dunno if it was an fj20e or a ca20e though. either way, thats the way it works.displacement = name of car.

i can add to durango, i've been driving an 03 for a couple weeks now.it's not a bad ride at all.it has the small v8 in it and gets around better than some other SUVs i've driven.the interior isn't bad.not really good either,but domestic truck based SUVs never have been in my eyes.we have had 2 of them between 3crews and the other one had to go back to thrifty for brake failure at 38k and mine is squeeking and feels like some bushings are shot up front,but it is a rental and gets treated as such.not to mention traffic in puerto rico is retarded.the brakes see ALOT of action and there are potholes here that literally consume lesser vehicles.

carribean rice is weird. the civics here aren't nearly as popular with the ricers as the mitsu mirage.i bet i've seen a thousand of them with evo badging.yet no intercooler or other hints of turbo goodness.
