Soooo many wonderful ideas!!! Going forward I think I'll try that downshifting idea & stick them behind an 18 wheeler! Thx for all the ways to deal with this without losing my COOL!

Wanted to share / while driving home from work yesterday, west on rt 270, 2 miles before Sawmill Rd exit - IT'S BACKED UP!! Sooo I get in far left lane going 60 mph (have adequate space from car in front of me), ergo NOBODY'S GOING ANYWHERE IN A HURRY - I get a clown trying to kiss backside of my vette. He's driving a white honda civic with a burned out headlight. When I get the chance, I promptly move into other lane, he gets beside me with 2 other guys in his car & they're looking at me like I'm nuts? One thing leads to the next, we exchange the finger & other hand signals??? Then they follow me - I'm real HOT now & pull off at Dublin exit - of course they head on down rt33 leaving more hand signals for me. I don't understand why people can't drive & worse then proceed to push themselves as (rightoeus?) on folks that are driving properly?? & not bothering anyone. Just seems this type of thing is going on more & more. Had he hit me because I had to stop for something in front of me / I might be in jail today for what I'd have done to him & his friends. Sorry for venting & going on & on, this just infuriates me ---

I think we need public executions, swift justice for any & all murderers, rapists, & other criminal acts. Whether it's policemen, firefighters, or the guy next door. It still won't stop these acts, but at least these perpetrators will know that if they commit the crime - they'll be out of time -- Our society is out of control

Update! I got in a red one last nite in Maxton's showroom. Very very high electronics, it has 16 computers, can't imagine what a GMAC warranty costs. Buttons to open & close doors & start the thing --- Yeah I'm going to suffer & keep drivin what I got -- smile.gif

Driving to work this morning I (finally) saw my 1st 2005 Corvette C-6! It was on Powell Rd headed west toward Powell. It was SHINY & BLACK! Absolutely beautiful car, person driving was just behind steering wheel enjoyin their ride! If I were rich I'd go order one TODAY!!!!! But I'm not, so I'll just keep dreamin & lookin at them --

I was there last night! NO TRACTION PLUS I CAN'T DRIVE!!!! I like the folks that run it, unfortunately they were waaay to busy with the lil kids driving the lawn mower powered rails etc. I took two passes within 3 1/2 hours, sideways in 2nd both times. Bad times but enjoyed the guys I went up with ---

Bet EVERYONE remembers what they were doing! I was completing a sales meeting with my staff of sales reps, doors closed etc. As the meeting ended my secretary burst thru the door, crying & histerical / we moved the TV into my ofc & with total shock & horror I watched the re-run of plane #1, then LIVE plane #2, then Pa. where I lived 1/2 my life, I was grateful my Dad was already in Atlanta & safe (like Mad Malibu). I'll also always remember taking my two sons outside & making them look at the sky! No planes in the air - I told them in their lifetime they'll probably (hopefully) never look up & soo No Commercial planes.

Hi Point? I wouldn't waste my $$$$. They say you get what you pay for. If you want a firearm for your lifetime & pass down to a sibling, be smart & buy = smith & wesson, colt, H&R etc. Thats my opinion anyway

Actually Corvette Club I belong to "Street Elite" is hosting it, backed by QSL & Byers Dublin Chevy. I don't know of any other CR members with "vettes" attending. We anticipate at least 150 Corvettes since the weather forecast is very favorable for this Sunday ---

If anyone is interested, there's a Corvette show this Sunday 7/25 at the Polaris / Quaker Steak & Lube. Show runs from something like 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There's supposed to be over 200 cars on show, all models & ages -- FYI for anyone interested -- graemlins/thumb.gif
