After meeting fellow CR members & just hangin out Sat nite at the old K Mart on rt 3. Thought I'd share the ridiculousness I observed while driving home (at approx 2:30 a.m.). Rarest Truck on CR was riding with me, as we headed north on Sawmill Rd a white Honda pulled up beside us at the light - I thought he wanted some? I was tired & not interested in wasting my gas on him, actually he wanted the other Honda that pulled in behind him, they got in front of me, side by side & at the bp station OFF they went, we watched traveling 45 mph (took long long time) for them to go out a sight. As we crossed into Delaware Cnty - there they were, being pulled over to chat with Del Cnty Sheriff!!!! Why anyone would race up Sawmill with: Dublin, Perry, Franklin, & Delaware gestapo all in their jurisdictions is beyond me. I'd guess it was an expensive evening for them. Almost as stupid as watching ricers race in front of the old K Mart earlier that evening!!

Who cares? It's just another mopar with transmission problems????? Overpriced & can't handle worth crap ----

Your post caught my eye. I'm new to CR & have a new toy. I've been checking out several "detail shops" but haven't decided who to go with? I bought an 02 Corvette Z06. It's electron blue in exceptional shape / the problem? It's got swirl marks all over the place (& a couple scratches). I've waited 36 years to finally pull the trigger & just buy a vette, so I'm frankly apprehensive about who to go with? Can the stupid swirls be removed for good, & can car look like she just stepped out of factory in Bowling Green?

I work at Nissan North & posted a week ago that they're sitting there again - they're pulling over ALL vehicles!!! The Delaware Cnty cop asked me to get on the vette last night as I was leaving! So I obliged him!! He just stodd by his cruiser waving at me as I pulled out & went by him in 3rd pushing around 70 mph ---

Got car back this morning. Seems like "vette tech" had to take drivers door apart, he found wires hangin everywhere like spaghetti??? I don't know what the previous owner was doing, anyway its all back together, memory seats work, interior lights go out / works just like she was originally designed / it was cool to drive it again - shes sleeping now til spring!!!

Well car now at Maxton's since 9:00 a.m. yesterday. I called & talked to Serv Writer asking for status (he wasn't warm & friendly). Appears they've ordered that electronic control module from Cinncy. Hope they keep her inside tonight??? She doesn't know what cold & snow are. C'mon Springtime!!!!!

Thanks C5 Doctor! Weather permitting I have an appt with Maxton's Vette tech next Thursday. Sure glad I bought & hooked up battery tender - that new battery just cost me north of $100.

I just bought my Vette in Dec. Great buy cause I stole it, 2002 with looow miles. The problem? I've got an electrical problem (a short) in the drivers door. The control panel (ya know) where the pw openers, remote mirrors etc are - it remains lit?? Everything else is off & sleepin but this damn arm rest! It's killed my battery, I put a new one in (thats when I noticed the problem). Maxton's Vette tech can't look & fix it until next Thursday (weather permitting. My question is - you folks that have Vettes / anyone had this problem with theirs? if so what is it, how do ya fix & how expensive & detailed is it???

With all the $$$$$ that Dublin people pay in taxes, you'd think the Barney Fife crew would enjoy there $35,000 a year & eat donuts! But no they are bored, I love watching them fight Dublin crime on the miniscule stretch of 270 thats under Dublin too -- & they wonder why the population struggles to respect our law enforcement? It's a joke & a shame -- Come spring I was looking forward to tooling up riverside drive / thx for the tip --

Just across Delaware County line / they sit amongst the parked cars at the Saturn & Nissan stores!!! Especially at nite, sheriff's no less. FYI my CR friends --- smile.gifsmile.gif
